SEYDEL Blues Session Standard Harmonica Low E

This is my first experience with Seydel. I think these are great harmonics. Good sound and very comfortable to play. All edges are rounded off and smooth. The blues session is fairly inexpensive and good quality. It comes with a leather slip-in pouch which is convenient albeit probably less sturdy than the cases that come with hohner products. I would recommend these harps. Pro grade stuff, imo.

Play good performs really well! A well built harmonica!The reeds are spot welded instead of riveted so they’re not adjustable hopefully they don’t move!Of course that’s if your into fine adjustments on your harmonicas! Haven’t had any issues yet

Harmonica is pretty nice in general. 3 draw has never been quite right, always muted and flat, hard to get sound at all. I bought this when I knew less about harmonicas, and judging by all the advice on tone you see on the internet (just keep practicing, it's not your harmonica, it's YOU) I assumed it was just my lack of skill. Been playing a few harmonicas for a few months now and I finally opened this thing up to see what the heck.You can clearly see that the 3 draw reed is riveted on crooked. The base is touching the side of the reed plate. No shock that it won't sound. You can even see a little bit of the hole in the reed next to the rivet. The rivet is hanging over the side of the hole as far as it can go to center the reed, like someone tried to use a reed with the hole punched in it wrong and make it work.Very disappointed. I guess it's just a dud, but I wouldn't expect a dud quite like this from a name like Seydel. It's clear this harmonica never worked and it even seems like that would have been obvious when it was being built. Past the return window now that I've figured this out so I can't even get satisfaction. Pretty lame.

I have a few harmonicas, Hohner and Seydel, this one produces a low, smoky and subtle sound, great for slow, below days and moods

I like the Seydel harmonicas in general. however the harmonica I purchased, which is a Low E has an odd problem. #5 blow and #5 draw produce the same note. Unfortunately I had other pressing issues that would not allow me to address the issue. So I guess I'm just SOL. If it was tuned properly It would be great but it was impossible for me to adhere to the time limits imposed by Amazon.

Love it! Bought it to replace my high E harp, which seemed too shrill. This one has a rich, deep tone, and its build quality is excellent.
