Speaker Bracket Universal Wall & Ceiling, Black (AM26-BLACK)

Decent mount overall and I think deserving of 4 stars.Pros:Quality feel and materialsNice to have the plastic pieces to hide the mountGood for a single stud mountIncludes a lot of and options hardwareHolds my Polk OWM3 speakers without issue (no sagging)Cons:Not as low provide as you might thinkNo wire management (I used some black split tube to hide the wires)Not super intuitive in terms of adjustmentsProbably wouldn't hold much more than the OWM3's. I read reviews on every speaker mount out there and I don't regret my decision. They are all good and bad in different ways.

Could not cope with my light bookshelf sized speakers

I purchased this mount to replace some grey mounts of the same type that I purchased a decade ago. Same size, dimensions, adapters, everything. I was pretty disappointed to find out how bad these mounts are.First and most important, the description says it holds speakers up to 10lbs. No way. I tried mounting some speakers a shade under 8lbs, and it wouldn't hold. The reason is the mount is made out of thin aluminum. You can't torque the screws hard enough to hold the speaker in place. I bought two of these... one would tighten but wouldn't hold the weight, the other was destroyed on its first use (the screw threads ripped out while hand-tightening using the supplied allen wrench, rendering the whole mount useless).It's unfortunate that aluminum and plastic were the materials chosen... the kit has all the adapters you need for single screw, double screw, and even keyhole mounting. I ended up spray painting my 10 year old grey steel mounts black, and it held the 8lb speakers like a champ with little effort. All I ended up using these mounts for was pieces to make the other mounts work. These guys were 0 for 2, and I can't possibly recommend them for any speakers over 4-5lbs.

Mixed feelings about these mounts...... so -- the good --- they work, they hold my speakers, looks isn't bad..... The bad -- as you can see from the pictures -- there are LOT of set screws you can adjust -- and you can see.... Not a clean look in my opinion. My biggest dislike about these speakers is wire management -- there isn't any. You have no means of having the wire itself come out of where these brackets are mounted -- AND -- no means to "hide" the speaker wire. Everyone wants a clean install - so it would be nice if you could run the wire into these brackets and through them up to the speakers...... These are okay -- but all the set screws and no wire management makes them just "okay". They do work but not s very clean install/look.

Simply great solid mount. Just had a little issue finding the correct screw to use from all the different ones it came with, but it's all good.

Bracket unable to hold 6 pound speaker. Angle set drops after 24hrs. Using Martin logan motion 4 speakers.
