Blundstone Womens High Top Chelsea Boots

I wear a US size 6-1/2 to 7, EU 37. I tried on a pair of heeled Blundstones in a shoe store on vacation and the only pair I could get on was a AU size 5. Loved the look but inside the boots were too long. Thus began my long back and forth with Amazon struggling to find the right size and style. I ended up keeping 3 pair: heeled black boots, size 4.5, all terrain, insulated In Rustic brown size 4, and these womens high top in Voltan black, size 4. From day 1 these have been the hardest to get on and off and the most comfortable to wear in any situation. After pulling tendons in both my hands and ankles I got a long handled shoehorn to put them on, and a boot jack to get them off. Both excellent investments if you are seriously considering Blundstone, particularly this style. I never intended to buy 3 pair of boots; I just wanted one nice pair to look feminine and wear everywhere and be easy on and off. This pair didn’t fit the dressier look I wanted, or quick on and off but OMG! they were the most comfortable, almost like wearing slippers, and I kept returning to them over and over. The toe box felt too wide initially but they continued to be unmatched for comfort. I have been wearing them on and off for a month now and they have become my absolute favorites. The ankle area is still snug enough to be a challenge, especially on the right book which I still needed the boot jack to remove. Until yesterday, when I stuck a soup can in that boot and left it there a couple hours. Now both boots feel the same and I can get them off, with some tugging, without using the boot jack. Which means I’ll be able to travel with over the holidays without having to pack a block of wood. And if I have to take the off in the airport I won’t need a chair and a strong man to get them off my feet. I kept the black heeled boots because I do want a dressier style for special occasions but I did have to go up half a size to 4-1/2 because the heels are a much narrower cut and I have a high instep. I also kept the thermal, waterproof with the Vibram sole for cold and icy weather. They are just as comfortable as the high tops, easier to get on and off but also too warm to wear indoors without changing out the shearling insole.

Love these boots. I am usually between 8-8.5 ordered 8.5 fits perfect and sli snug with thicker socks. Reviews about difficult to get off are very true... My kids have to help me pull them off. They are loosening with more wear. They are comfortable for all day walking out of the box though. Although they are tight on the top, it makes for great ankle support and I love that so don't mind the pulled muscles getting them off. They are comfortable, stylish, durable and great traction, keep my feet dry and warm in the nasty wet Washington winter. Would order again and definitely recommend.

The sizing of these boots is tricky. I love how they look, I love wearing them, but my toes kept touching the end of the boot. I initially ordered a size W9, and they were way too big. I thought I could have solved the problem by using more than one insert, but I didn't think it was necessary, nor did I recommend wearing two pairs of socks as I saw suggested in online reviews. So, I ordered a size W8. I recently bought a boot stretcher, and it helped a lot in stretching them a bit in both length and width. I also replaced the insole, which is paper-thin, to give me more support in my heel.

Due to an ankle injury, my ability to wear boots are very limited. I mainly use Chelsea boots as my main go-tos for daily wear - whether it is the office or milling around somewhere for fun. Since 2017, I have been an avid wearer of Doc Martens. I have loved and walked in many pairs. Currently, I have two pairs of Doc Martens I've been wearing every day (Tempesta and Dorrian) and cycle between them. My one pair (Tempesta) was getting ragged and falling apart after 3 years of consistent use. Especially around the ankle area. Recently, I have tried to replace them multiple times with other similar styles of doc martens. But every pair of casual chelsea docs are **very** heavy, steep decline of quality compared to other pairs I've had, or not my flavor of style. I have a pair of the Embury but they are super heavy and not sustainable for daily wear for me. Mainly use them now with nice warm socks in the winter time. But again, for any other part of the year...not quite what I'm looking for. So...I have been on a journey to find something more lightweight, able to go the distance, and able to be worn at work and play. After researching, I ended up grabbing these to test them out. My package was delivered at 3pm, I put them on and went straight to a Phillies game with them at 4pm. Was it a dumb decision? Maybe. But I was committed. Initial impression: I'm very happy with them. I got my usual size (Womens Size 10). They were perfect. Nice boot silhouette. Not super clunky. Very limited pain. I have chunky calves so I had a temporary bit of pain around my calves where the tops of the boots were, but I have a feeling they will loosen up with wear. Otherwise, no pain. Ended up walking over 2 miles with them around a concrete stadium. Over 2 miles of walking - Between waiting in lines and walking around in crowds - To me, that's insane for leather boots out of the box. I was expecting more pain, but nope! I'm still in the breaking in phase, but slipping them on and off is a little bit of a challenge. But, that's also the caveat of this style of shoe. It has to be tight somewhere to keep the shoe on your foot. I am sure after the break-in process, the leather will loosen up in the ankle area for more convenient slipping into and out of the shoe. These are my first pair so I'm not sure how long they will last. (I'm pretty rough with shoes, to be fair). But hoping to go on many adventures with them :) Definitely my new favorite shoes.

I was just really expecting the, "they fit like butter" situation but it hasn't come yet. I do love them, I just wish they were a little more comfortable. I haven't worn them a ton yet so, TBD still. I had to get a size larger than my normal for a wider fit. My normal size felt great but they gave me horrible blisters the size up feels slightly too wide (which is probably better for my foot anyway) but no blisters. Haven't taken them in any hills yet though. Hoping it's just needing to break them in. I also wore the smaller size just one time and they creased and were easily scratched so that was interesting. Planning to put mink oil on these. They are water proof and warm though! Which is amazing as I live in Washington state. I know that seemed like a lot of complaining lol but I'm actually really happy with them and how they look. Just be very aware of the sizing and realize they may not fit as perfect as you're expecting.

These are perfect!! My RT foot is a sz 9.5/10 and left foot is 9/9.5/10. These fit both my feet with the help of insoles. I used 2 different insoles,the thinset 1 in my right boot and a little thicker in my left boot. I have nearly completely flat feet, so I don't like or need arch support and medium to narrow feet. I just needed the insoles to cushion and to help them be a little less clunky feeling inside. I have ordered no less than 20pairs of boots this past year hoping for a good fit (including every style of ECCO, Alegria, etc) all were too snug on my right foot. So, I was soooo thrilled by the little extra room my toes had on my right boot. They were snug to put on, but not impossible with the use of the pills on the back and front. I wore them outside right out of the box and I never do this. I usually wear them around the house for days and end up returning them. I also love the black color. Since I live in the NW I put some mink oil on them to protect from the rain somewhat. Also, even with my size 10 they dont look to clunky on my feet and they are not too heavy (weight wise). Much light than the Doc Martin's I was looking at. I love how good they look with everything and I have gotten soo many compliments on how good they look.

These boots are very comfortable, stylish, functional, and waterproof! I’ve been searching for a versatile boot that I can wear to the office, in the woods, and casually. I love that the heel isn’t very chunky or high as I do a lot of walking and hiking with my dog and my young child. These are durable, warm, and while being waterproof, my feet haven’t been sweaty like other waterproof boots I’ve previously owned. I’ve worn them in the rain, snow/slush, and when it was 50 degrees Fahrenheit….they performed well! I will definitely be investing in more pairs (in different colors) in the future! I definitely believe it’s worth investing in good footwear that is built to last and these boots have won me over!! I’d give 10 stars if it were an option; I typically never leave any types of reviews but these boots are worth giving an honest opinion on.

è il mio secondo paio di Blundstone: ho scelto questo modello invece del primo "basic" perché leggermente più alto: devo dire che sono bellissimi, ed hanno tutti i pregi di questi stivali di cui ormai non posso più fare a meno: impermeabili, comodissimi ed adatti a tutte le occasioni (compresi gli utilizzi da simil cantiere)! Inoltre sono riuscita ad acquistarli ad un prezzo decisamente inferiore a quello al quale normalmente si trovano.

Das ist jetzt das zweite Paar… auf den Fotos seht Ihr mein erstes Paar und das neue Paar. Genau sieben Jahre hat das erste Paar gehalten, bevor sich die Sohle aufgelöst hat. Ich hatte ihn immer im Frühjahr und Herbst an. Er ist total bequem und meine Sohlen vom Orthopäden passen rein wenn ich die Einlegesohle von den Blunnies rausnehme. Der Schuh sieht nicht breit aus, ist aber optimal geschnitten und engt nicht ein. Anfangs ist der Schaft eine Hürde, da er schmal geschnitten ist und das An- und Ausziehen erschwert… dranbleiben lohnt sich… wird geschmeidig und einfacher. Klare Kaufempfehlung ❤️

I really love these boots — the quality is amazing, they look great, and I completely understand why they’re so popular. Unfortunately, with my bunions and wide feet, they just don’t suit me comfortably. I genuinely wish I had slimmer feet because these are beautiful boots. Just not the right match for my foot shape. Had to return them....what a shame....

Tried these on in store so I knew what size I needed. They were on sale on Amazon and I’m happy with the purchase!

Perfect boots for me! I am very happy with my Blundstones. It does take a while to work them in, stuff them with newspaper to stretch them. Once you work them in they are super comfortable and look great with everything!
