Works as well as the more $ one!
It works as it should. I still use a micro-cloth underneath when possible but it seems pretty secure.

Instrument wrench...
I was surprised at just how stout this wrench is. It has padding on the underside to protect the finish. My old one, that has been lost, did not have this and I was always placing tape or a cloth under to protect the finish. There are two ends that have serrations on one of the jaws for grabbing the nuts or screw heads. It is a little on the thick side so some knobs might be too closely positioned for it to fit under. For the price this is an exceptional value.

Great In Concept. Fails In Execution And Protection.
The concept of this "multi-spanner wrench is not new. The addition of the padded backing, while nice in concept, is not new either. It's failures are also nothing new.Like all of these "multi-spanner " wrenches they don't work on many of the nuts on various guitars. The padded backing does not cover enough of the back of the wrench so the teeth still scratch the finish on your instrument. This one is also thicker than many others on the market. This may or may not make it more durable but it also means that the sides can't be as a screwdriver as universally as others on the market.Sort list of pros And Cons:Pros:Excellent price compared to similar products.Stainless steel construction.Hole to hang from a peg or hook on/near your workbench. Can be used for a limited variety of nuts on most guitars.Padded backing - Useful on things like jack plate nuts or string ferrules/nuts (Also note cons for this).Cons:Thicker than others on the market - Increases durability but limits usage as a screwdriver and makes it hard to get under some knobs to tighten down the nut on the potentiometers.Padded backing doesn't cover sufficiently and teeth can still scratch finish, especially when working on knobs and pickup switch selectors. Most of these cons can be said of all of the other spanner wrenches on the market so this is something that is great in concept but fails in execution much of the time.Still, when it does work it can be a real time saver, and at this price if you ARE gong to buy a mult--spanner wrench this is the one I would suggest you get.Hope this is not too confusing and can help even a little.

Good quality materials
It's not as easy as it looks to use, got to practice with it a bit, and tends to slip quite a bit, but once you get the hang of it it works great

Great Knob Remover
Does exactly what I needed it for, removing knobs. Build quality is good and the nut removal portion works. I wouldn’t waste my money paying a higher price for a like product. This one works just fine.
