So good!
Even my family who can be picky with foods all really liked this bread! I suggest using buttermilk instead of milk for this mix, and I usually serve it with butter.

Real taste of Ireland
Super easy to make and bake, authentic flavor and texture that is hard to replicate in America because the flour is different.

Yumm!
This made a fantastic Irish Soda Bread. I spent about 3 weeks in Ireland recently and fell in love with their breads. They do mill the wheat differently than most of the US flours, this one is coarser than most. You only have to add milk to the right consistency so it is possible to make a small loaf-just right for one!

Absolutely authentic
I have used this product for years both living in Ireland and the U.S. It is very easy and although it says to make in the shape of a round and make a deep cross, I find using a well greased and floured cake tin works really well. Especially if dough is wet and tends to spread out. You have a little more control over the shape in a round tin.

This is only the first of many orders.
This bread has a great flavor, and the hint about wrapping it in a tea towel really worked. It's sometimes hard to separate the memory of flavor from the memory of the location, but it does seem heavier and crustier than what I remember getting in Ireland. Still, it is the best I've had this side of the pond and I will be getting more.
