Hi to everyone! It's winter time and I needed new thick knee high socks.I had no idea just how many different brands and styles were out there.The more you look, the more you get confused.After alot of searching and researching too, I purchased these Hylaea Merino Wool Ski Socks, Cold Weather Socks for Snowboarding, Snow, Winter, Thermal Knee-high Warm Socks.They are hot!! I have worn them inside boots, regular shoes, and sneakers. They feel awesome and keep my feet toasty. Also, they look cool, work like fancy compression socks and they keep you warm.They are true to size. As a bigger guy with large calves, I have tried many thermals and wool socks only to be disappointed that they are either too tight or don't stay up or don't keep my feet warm or any combination of the 3. These socks are comfortable, fit well over my calves, stay up all day and keep my feet nice and warm in the frigid zub-sero MN winter temps. Tried a 3pk and love them so much I ordered 6 more pairs. Definitely my new go to sock for snowboarding, ice fishing, hunting, and any outdoor winter activity.

I bought these to replace an old pair of wool socks. Unable to find the exact ones, and seeing the cost of a single pair, I opted for these. Pleased to find they do indeed go over the calf. I'm 6'4 and they fit just above my knee! warm, comfortable and great price. I only gave 4 stars because i cannot attest to durability. Will update rating after 6 months.

These are the best socks I've ever owned. They are very warm,easy to put on,and very comfortable. They don't slip down like alot of knee high socks.

We bought these for a snow weekend during a visit to Nevada. I usually get cold feet....not this time, these are amazing, kept my feet warm and dry! also, since these are high socks, keeping my lower leg warm I believe helped overall to help maintain body heat. Good quality, they run a bit large...

These were a great deal on 3-pairs of comfortable socks. I wore them skiing. Comfortable. Got a little chilly in the toes, but nothing I'm worried about long term...that's what the lodge is for :-)

I wear size 9 shoes so ordered size large according to the chart. Out of the box they looked too small but stretched to fit when put on. The length is too long for me, running all the way to the knee joint where they irritate me when flexing. They fit quite snug but not uncomfortably so as long as you’re walking about and active, but start feeling quite uncomfortably tight if you lie down to relax. I wore them to bed and woke up in the middle of the night feeling like my legs were the last bit of toothpaste you’re trying to squeeze out of a nearly empty tube. I’m a fairly skinny guy so I can’t imagine what someone with normal or thick legs would feel. I felt great relief after taking them off.The thickness was good(not too thick) and they are warm. If you aren’t irritated by having tight socks all the way up to the knee you could give them a try but I’d suggest sizing up. I sent them back.
