Extremely handy and very functional.... I use these to scan packing lists to send to my customers and it fits easily into my laptop bag. There are, however, a few frustrations with it. My first frustration is that there is no way to scan a multi-page PDF as each page you scan is automatically put into it's own file. The second frustration is that the PDF/JPG and MONO/COLOR selections always reset at power on -- this means that if you have multiple things to scan but the scanner goes to sleep before you get the next sheet in you have to power it back on and reselect the settings that you want.It seems that this scanner was produced and programmed thinking only about those who scan photos and not those that scan documents... I really debated between giving it 3 stars for 4 but I went with 4 because, at the end of the day, it does do what I want it to and has a great output despite the frustrations.

This is my second one (I broke the first one by getting a sticker stuck in it but I'd had it for several years). So I thought I'd try the Neat scanner (same size). I used it for only one hour and sent it back. It was SLOW. The Vupoint is not only quick, it is so easy to use. When you're scanning a multi-page document (one page at a time) you just click SAVE and all the pages are pulled into one PDF document. I have virtually eliminated most of my paper clutter. Also the software that comes with it allows you to OCR your documents for ease in locating what you want, but I rarely use it. I do back up everything to an external hard drive just to be on the safe side.

hate it, I wish I could get my money back, it is on the shelf gathering dust. when tried to scan more than a couple of pages, they get stuck, or when it did scan, some of the pages were missing.

Awesome scanner but be careful, if you press the wrong button, your files will disappear. I wish the delete button wasn't on top of the scanner.

I purchased this back in December and have only used it twice. The second time I used it, the microSD card broke off inside while I was trying to take it out to upload onto my computer.I would like this to be replaced.
