I like watching the Master Chef professionals series on the television ...
I stumbled on this book completely by accident whist searching for another cookery book. I like watching the Master Chef professionals series on the television so I decided to purchase the book. The book is divided into 2 main sections. The first, covers modern classic recipes from starters through to deserts and cakes with some pictures. The Master Chef recipes are all accompanied with a full colour picture of the finished dish. The second section is entitled Master Chef know how which covers kitchen implements, step by step illustrations on how to bone fish, preparing crustaceans and jointing a chicken to name but a few It then moves on to different ingredients and their flavour parings useful for those budding cooks that want to create their own dishes or add your own twist to an existing recipe. The difference between this and the earlier edition is MINIMALl. The 2011 bible boasts 100 CLASSIC RECIPES and less of the recipes from the Masterchef series than the current 2017 book, so both editions have the same total number of pages. A lovely book that would be an asset to anyone's kitchen and have bought a further 2 copies as presents for friends who both went into raptures over it!!

I am very excited to review this book
This book is great,it teaches you every single trick in the kitchen, describes all ingredients (meat, fish , veg, seeds, fruits and so on), give the complete step by step (in pictures) of how, where and when to use an ingredient, season calendar, temperatures, weight conversions, volume measurements ... and the list go on and on, great for beginners as well as someone who already knows how to cook, this is a fantastic reference book and on the top of all the above it also contains a good number of recipes. I cannot fault this book, I highly recommend it. I liked it so much that I got a second one and gave it to my sister for Christmas, I could see she was not very impressed by getting a recipe book , but it was lovely to see the changes on her face as she started looking through the pages, realizing that this is a great tool in any kitchen.
