Works great! On-Off ONLY - No Dimming
I was putting some LED lighting in kitchen cabinets and was looking for a clever and neat way of turning them on or off. I thought the coolest way would be not using a mechanical switch. Looking for touch switches, this is the only one i found that is ON-OFF only. Most other ones have 3 levels of dimming which wouldn't be necessary for cabinet lighting. The unit is very small. I was able to put the unit in a double metal box with 1 outlet with out any issues. I could have easily put two outlets but not needed. Wiring is a bit goofy since they picked uncommon colors for AC wiring. Here's how I wired mine There are 2 bundle of wires. - yellow -> touch sensor - red -> live / line; which is normally black in US - black -> neutral; which is normally white in US - Blue -> live / power -> goes to line side of the outlet. - Black -> neutral -> goes to neutral side of the outlet that's it. For sensing, I ended up extending the yellow line and connected it to the metal handles on a false drawer. The false drawer are were the cooktop goes and don't have any function. I got lucky that my handles were metal. So I loosened the screw in the back, crimped on a ring connector to the wire and screwed it back on. It actually came out very nice. You wack up to the cabinets, touch the handle and bingo... cabinet lights come on. The adapter you see in the picture is from an LED strip that goes around the cabinets.

Perfect in all respects.
This is an excellent device for converting any lamp to touch on touch off. Please note that it is not a dimmer. You do not need special dimmable LED light bulbs. It will work with any LED light bulb. It is easy to install once you figure out the wiring. As someone else posted "Black and Blue (L1) go to the light bulb. The other black and Red (L) go to the 120V power. Yellow goes to the metal on the base of the lamp that is touched to turn the lamp on." The design of this device is also very stable. The lamp does not flicker. The lamp does not go on unintentionally if the power goes off and then back on. It converts any lamp that uses a pull chain, twist knob, or any other kind of socket into an ultra convenient touch on touch off lamp. I am sure that I will buy more.

Almost worked.
After wiring it as the instructions say it worked great. For about a minute. On. Off. On. Off. Then I started to smell something funny. Then only on. Turn it off at the main switch, then back on at the main switch. Light off. Tap the touch sensitive and the light turns on. Touch the touch sensitive and it stays on. Funny smell is getting more noticeable. Turn the main light switch back off then back on. Light is off. Touch the touch sensitive the light turns on but again wont turn off. Turn the main light off. Disconnect the touch switch and it is HOT. I drop it it is so hot. The main white body of the switch has begun to melt. Throw it in the trash. That was my wonderful experience with this product. I did the math and my load was within the 5-200 watt parameters. It should have worked.

Excellent On/Off Touch Switch
This device works better than expected. Most Touch Switches don't work well in winter with low humidity during heating season. This one worked perfectly, even with my dry, winter skin ( I sometimes have trouble getting my iPhone to register my touch in winter). Wiring labels on device are not the clearest- They use Black wires for the Neutral conductor when in the US, Black is normally the Hot wire. Good info in the reviews and questions section made it easy to figure out.

unclear on wiring for 120vac
I think the problems people are having is that the wiring diagram and instructions are for 220 volt power. There is no instructions or diagrams provided for a 120 volt power source. Even in the reviews the people who know how to wire it are not really explaining it. So here it is . The red wire on the switch (labled L) connects to the 120 hot. The black wire on the switch is now your nuetral. (would normally be a white wire for 120 application.) These two wires are next to the yellow touch wire on the switch. Then the blue and black wires comming from the switch that are grouped together go to the light. Blue is neutral and black is load. I have 3 switches running under cabinet lighting in my kitchen and have had no issues with them not working as they should. I've had no problems with the switches

This revived my tiffany lamp
I wanted an on/off only touch switch for the tiffany lamp made by my sister 30 years ago. I had this lamp by my bedside unused for years because it was difficult to turn on from bed. The lamp socket needed replaced and this made a good excuse to improve it. I found lots of 3 power level touch switches but I only want on and off. This control worked perfectly. You need to ground this to the lamp body for it to work. My lamp had no provision for a ground and I did not want to drill a hole or solder one on. The socket needed to be replaced so I got one with a ground lug. Problem solved. It works great. PS: I see reviews where this failed. i suspect faulty wiring in some homes. It is not unusual for outlets to be wired backwards. That is the positive and negative in the wall outlet is wired backwards. The polarized plug does not help if the house wiring has the positive and neutral reversed.. when wired wrong most lights and appliances will still work but become a shock hazard and may destroy this touch switch which must have correct polarity.

This has got to be one of the best touch switches I’ve ever installed. Wiring diagram is perfect. Easy to install. Very straightforward. The best part it’s a simple on and off. No three levels of dimming. For those of you looking for a simple on off touch switch this works perfect. Even though the label says AC 220 V it actually works on 110 or 220 great value for the price.

Great as replacement touch sensor no fiddling around touching the lamp 3 times to switch off. Just on/off.

Product worked ok but concerned there was no CE or UKCA mark on it which I thought was compulsory to sell electrical goods in the UK.
