Pharma Grade DMSO (Dimethyl Sulfoxide) is a very distinctive dipolar highly aprotic organic solvent with a freezing point of 64 Deg F.(place in warm water to unfreeze) DMSO by itself is actually odorless, what makes Dimethyl Sulfoxide smell and taste like onions or garlic is DMS (Dimethyl Sulfide). Industrial grades of DMSO will contain DMS and therefore give off an offensive odor. Pure Pharma Grade Dimethyl Sulfoxide is distilled and purified to remove DMS and any other contaminants leaving it odorless. Dimethyl Sulfoxide, once considered a medical curiosity and now used in many regulated drug delivery and healthcare applications. The Toxicological aspects of DMSO have been studied extensively over a long period of time and it has been concluded to be a very low toxicity hazard in humans and animals via oral and parenteral routes. One of the highest concerns surrounding DMSO is that it can take everything through the skin. While DMSO by itself can penetrate fairly easily through the skin and does enhance the adsorption rates of some chemical compounds, it does not have a universal ability to take just anything through the barrier properties of human skin. Despite the past history, Dimethyl Sulfoxide is proven to be a safe versatile material. It should also be understood that when water is present as a cosolvent in DMSO the penetration kinetics are much lower.

"DMSOStore" sent LOW Grade. If it's DMSO at all!
My two bottles will not solidify in my cold refrigerator. Anyone familiar with the properties of DMSO will be aware that DMSO solidifies at cool room temperatures below 65 degrees. The product I received from the DMSO Store through Amazon will NOT solidify. I have a half bottle from another company and an unopened bottle from an even different company which both solidify as hard as ice right beside this bottle in my fridge. So, what's up with this? I ordered this because it was supposed to be "pharma-grade" and since I was making this purchase for other family members I wanted the purest I could find. I suspicion this is not pure, or even close to being pure. It doesn't even appear to crystalize the tiniest bit after being in cold fridge overnight. I have not removed the foil seal that's under the lid and plan to return for a refund but am being careful to research this to make certain I am not missing any new information. Actually, I feel this is a total waste of my time and possibly my money. It will be interesting to see what kind of "excuse" I'm given for this situation. I will update this if I receive any new info that might interest others.

This is not 99% undiluted DMSO
If I could give it zero stars I would. This is clearly not 99% undiluted DMSO as advertised. If it was it would freeze at 66 degrees. I lowered the temperature to 45 degrees and it was still just like water with a few crystals. I use DMSO every day for pain management and although the price was great its basically useless. Now I've got to hassle through the A-Z return program to try and get a refund even though I never even opened the bottles.. Product listing says "Not eligible for PRIME" ...now I know why.

High quality DMSO
Very high quality DMSO no matter what size you buy from them. You can buy in plastic and pour their DMSO into a glass container which is inert.DMSO loves water and seeks water. Always use DMSO diluted with water or it will suck the water from your skin and not be as effective. I use one tablespoon pure water (filters, spring or distilled) with three tablespoon this DMSO in a small ceramic cup or glass. Dip one or two fingers in cup and apply. Use as needed. MSM is the DMSO that you can take internally. Buy the Bulk Supplements kind at Amazon. Three level teaspoons daily spread throughout the day. Take MSM with half teaspoon NOW FOODS magnesium ascorbate at the same time. MSM action is enhanced by Vitamin C.For serious joint problems apply DMSO/water as often as you can and take the MSM/Magnesium Ascorbate as described above. I have done this for one year and have seen great improvement in how far I can walk. Good luck and may God bless!

Unusable... hard as a rock when opened
I just opened this bottle of DM SO, and it is as hard as a rock! The bottle has been in the house with me since it was purchased, it has not gotten neither hot nor cold, nor was the seal broken. This was my first purchase of this item, but I am sure that quality DMSO is not supposed to turn into a rock. I just opened this bottle of DMSO, and it is as hard as a rock! I lowered the plastic knife into the bottle so that you can see how it is sitting on top of the solution inside because it is solid now.The bottle has been in the house with me since it was purchased, it has not gotten neither hot nor cold, nor was the seal broken.This was my first purchase of this item, but I am sure that quality DMSO is not supposed to turn into a rock.

DMSO as it should be, pure and simple!
This just great, pure DMSO.It crystallizes (appears frozen like ice) at 64°F. We use it in pain medication combined with essential oils and CBD.Have repeatedly purchased this product from this vendor and will continue to do so. No reason to purchase anywhere else.

Uncomfortable itch and burn on my hands and arms.
I have the beginnings of carpal tunnel syndrome and decided to try DMSO. I diluted it to 70% strength and sprayed it on the wrists and hands. It seems to tingle at first and then later it feels like it is burning the skin. Very uncomfortable feeling and I discontinued it's use.Customer service stated she did not think it would be effective on carpal tunnel, so I tend to agree with her.

This really doesn’t work for me!
This does not really work for me, I only experience a warm tingling for a second or two, and then nothing.

High Potency
The liquid is very pure. I placed it in the fridge for 4 hours and it came out fully frozen with no water trickling through the crystals. The liquid has a very strong garlic/metal taste to it.
