I like to keep a couple spools of this thread on hand for when I need a little extra strength/durability for my sewing. It's sturdier than regular sewing thread but not as heavy-duty as what I use for upholstery sewing. It's also good for hand basting as it pulls out easily after any seams are made or it can be left it for reinforcement on the seams.

I'm 66 yrs old. I've used Coats and Clark thread for 50 yrs. It is the best. I have tried other brands over the years and they just don't compare. Coats and Clark never tangles in my sewing machine like others do. It is also priced reasonably and always has been.
