Okay, I loved this one a lot more than the first!This had a lot more in it that made it more interesting.It was darker than the first, spicier than the first, and who doesn’t love a possessive stalker…just me?Riley had a lot more background than what Elena had, there was a lot of parts where I felt so sorry for her but I actually really enjoyed her character.And omg…Aiden…new dark romance book boyfriend for sure!!!The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because I felt the ending did feel a bit rushed and could have had a longer moment but other than that I’m obsessed!100% recommend reading this, +18 and check TWs! This is DARK so be sure to check everything before going in!

First of all this cover is absolutely breathtaking!!! 😍🥰🤩 Cover alone gets infinite stars!!.This is a dark romance inspired by Orpheus and Eurydice. And I have to say, Miller and her Monsters & Muses series have me hooked. I love finding all the little nudges to the greek mythology stories they are inspired by..Aiden James, such a dreamy unhinged rockstar. His little mischievous tricks around her house had me grinning. An lil Riley has been through plenny and yet she still keeps some sweetness deep, DEEP in her soul. I enjoyed watching her flourish through the story. Fun rollercoster ride watching them both ruin and save each other..Dubious consent was on trigger warnings however, given her past it made me just a bit uneasy, like I was waiting and expecting her to breakdown at any point. As I kept reading I quickly realized my concerns were obviously a waste... Not only is she tough, Aiden is hard to resist...No need to play hard to get 😅....Absolutely adored seeing Kallum back in this kind of brotherly type role. He is still my fave 🖤..Excited for book 3 of this series; Oaths & Omissions. These have become an instabuy for me..PS: I will never look at lotion the same way... Even consent is a bit grayish at one time or another. So, thanks for stopping by but if you’re shaking your head no, then this is where you leave me.Ok, hi besties 😜 Sooooo! I was told by many that this was a favorite in the series. Color me intrigued. Color me excited. And then color me obsessed because this book is everything I didn’t know I was craving. Where the lines between alluring and terrifying, wrong and right are nothing but a blur.But I would be lying if I didn’t say that while all the pearl clutching had me wanting more and more, it was the journey through trauma and mental health that really sealed the deal for me. Riley and Aiden might not have had similar life experiences, but they both knew pain and despair. Shame and emptiness. And somehow they found each other at a party in NYC. And again in a small town somewhere.I devoured every page. And I would’ve devoured 400 more. It was that good. Honorable mention to Kal because he can’t do no wrong. Sav, you’ve done it again. Another great book! I loved Vipers and Virtuosos. Aiden truly scares and allures me at the same time. Who wouldn’t want a hot rockstar stalking them? Just when I couldn’t stand him, he made me instantly change my mind. He’s obsessive and crazy, yet he’s so dreamy. With Riley, there has been so much growth with her character and while at times I wanted to throw my book across the room, you can’t help but love her. It's truly been a journey for her battling her demons, trying to move beyond her past whilst it’s trying to catch up to her. It’s amazing how Sav created this universe that all of her characters are a part of and I absolutely love it. These two were so fit for each other and their story was beautifully told. I do hope we get to see more of Liam in the future.

Sav Miller is one of, if not the absolute, best kinky smutty author. Her books are immaculate. The plot stays well and she always adds a bit of spice that you won’t expect.This book was good, it just gave me the creeps. As an extremely paranoid person, I don’t recommend reading this at night.
