Fun to shoot
These are fun. Shooting Paper gets old. Having things break out is much more fun.The picture shows a C shape but mine came as V's. The V is a better design as it allows for the clay to drop out. I have a different brand that is C shaped and the clays clog in the bottom. It is not a big deal except you sometimes have to get a stick or screw driver to pop out the clay. The other brand I have was listed as self healing. That sounds great in practice but if you hit them the will break. It is not worth the extra $ to buy supposedly self healing holders. They will not last forever. The only down side is the length of the peg. They could be a little longer buy about half. These are a lot of fun and I would recommend them to anyone looking at shooting something besides paper.

Neat product... Wish they were taller.
I'm a skeet shooter, but I recently got into pistols a little bit. I had plenty of clay targets at home because I buy them by the case when the local shop has them on sale. I use them out at the family farm for field-shooting when I can't get out to the club to shoot on the actual stations. I wanted some targets for shooting my Ruger 22/45 and since I already had the clay targets, looked for something to hold them. Enter this product. These things are great. They're really sturdy and as long as you don't shoot the bracket or the rod, they'll last a while. My only gripe is that I wish the rod were longer. I'm probably going to just put some PVC in the ground and zip tie the rods to the PVC that way I can get these up off the ground a little. At the very least, it'll give me a couple different heights to shoot at.These things are cheap. I ordered two sets but will definitely buy more so I can set up multiple targets for two shooters. The Champion Clays are very expensive. You're better off buying standard clay targets by the case (I get them locally for about $9 per case of 135, I think). If you want the smaller size, you'll pay the premium that Champion asks, but if you just want the one size, get the case of generics.

Will be buying more!
These are great to have for target practice. They hold the clay target very well and hold up even when shot. If the "V" part that holds the clay target gets shot it still holds up and doesn't break. Mine have been shot several times with multiple calibers and there is just a small hole in the material. I can't say the same for the metal steak. Once you shoot that it will bend and won't hold the clay target upright. Overall they work great and are at a good price.

Not 3
We bought this for son at Christmas expecting to receive 3 holders, but as others have said only received one-very disappointing. I just couldn't seem to find the right contact information to get the order fixed. My son loves collecting the missed clays and then target shooting them. We thought he would enjoy these, but pretty worthless with just one. Became a very expensive stocking stuffer since we only received one instead of the package of 3 as it was published at the time.

Not made of super plastic.
Ok, so my issue is not with the target holders at all. They are basically exactly what you would expect them to be, and do a fine job of holding clays. My issue comes with my own lack of critical thinking skills. When you shoot these with a shotgun...obviously (or you would think so anyway) the pellets wreck these things. Seriously. Most of the time you get one, maybe two shots before they are toast. In other words...no, the plastic is not some new super shotgun resistant magic plastic. It is just plastic. As such, shotgun rounds have basically the exact effect on them you would expect a shotgun round to have.Knowing is half the battle I suppose.

Have more than we need now
We read the reviews on this product and, some said that the clay target holders came one to a pack and others said it was three. We needed 6 target holders and since we were unsure how much we would truly get we just ordered 6. Well the package came and they are 3 to a pack and now we have 18!Good value for your money. The only downside is that we wish the rods/poles were a little longer for our purposes. It'll be okay though, otherwise these are great.

Great for the price!
I could have easily gone 5 stars based on the price. These were well worth what I paid for them .. which wasn't much. The plastic clay holder won't take too many hits in the same place from center fire rifle or pistol. I've hit mine with 9mm rounds and the holders need a little work if I hit the same general area multiple times (you have to rework teh plastic groove that holds the targets).Holds a standard 4" clay target just fine. The metal rods are short as another reviewer mentioned. I'd think pistol or rifle rounds would be a ricochet hazard if you didn't raise them up a bit. A trip to Lowes and a little imagination can take care of that. The range I shoot at has berms so it's a non issue.I have target holders thatt are a lot more forgiving about being shot with rifle or pistol ammunition .. but I paid a lot more for them. I like these for the price. If you're planning on using these with a rifle with a bit of punch to it ... I'd order at least two sets. I'm guessing these wouldn't handle too many center fire rifle hits .. but I could be wrong. Good value for 6 bucks!

Target Holder Too Short
The Target Holders are ok but the steel rods are way too short in my opinion. Once you figure out a way to extend their length they are not bad. I would not recommend them or buy them again due to this design shortcoming.UpdateI have been using these as intended and find them to be extremely lacking, I do not like them and have already thrown one of the three away. Save your money.
