Great for a cheap security camera
Great product, purchased to record people breaking into my shed. Picture quality was good enough to identify the people to the police and help with the arrest. Great rain and snow proofing. interface easy to use. able to hold my 64gb card and great color to remain concealed.Downside, it loves to eat batteries. Takes 8 of them, recommend investing in rechargeables.

Great pics, day and night!
Great trail can for the price, have been surprised what I have seen passing thru. Picture quality at night is pretty good, some enhancing helps. All in all for the price I'm very satisfied!

Good lighting throughout the day & night vision is good too.
Easy to set up and scan through the photos/video without having to take it back home to view on the computer. we have deer and other game in the area and I wanted to see what's out and about at night too. This was the perfect tool to do the job! Great price too, don't forget to get a memory card and 8 AA batteries so your ready to go when it arrives!

Beautiful pictures
This trail cam works beautifully and is easy to set up. I like the camo colors as it hides well in the woods. This pic of the Bald Eagle was taken after we set the camera up when we had seen the Bald Eagles in this area. Be sure to set it away from moving leaves as it picks up motion very easily. Even the video quality is pretty good for the price of this camera.

REVIEW UPDATE:
New 7/16/19: Great customer service!! I had originally only gave this camera 1 star because I had purchased two of them in June of 2018 and by November both cameras completely stopped working. Before they stopped the footage was sporadic, only recording maybe one time a day at best and both finally just died completely. Apeman contacted me after my review and was very apologetic, even offering to replace both cameras with their updated version free of charge. I received my new cameras Saturday and so far I really like them. I am hoping they will work out great for us. :)Old: Both of my cameras stopped working in less than a years time. One indoor, one outdoor. I tried to reset to factory settings, replaced batteries, installed new SD cards, still will not work. They will only record maybe 3 - 5 second videos or take about 3 pictures then they quit. SD cards are empty when installed and formatted using the trail cam's format feature. It is highly disappointment and frustrating. I guess you get what you pay for. Though no one should have to put up with faulty products simply because they are low in cost.

One of my Fav! Easy set up, Great Pics Night or Day!
I was looking for a Game Camera for awhile but didnt want to spend a butt load of money for one. Came across this one and Glad i bought one! Easy set up, Great pics day or night. Comes with hardware to mount to a tree with screws or the strap. My parents Moultre only came with a strap and for a bunch more money. I will buy another one of these again. Had it out in the woods for a week with heavy rain and a bunch of humid days and it held up great! :-) If your looking for a great game camera for hunting, or even property survellenice this is a great buy!

Only Camera brand out of 6 that leaked
I have 6 trail cameras out on my property. 3 Primos, 2 Victure and 1 other. None have leaked. The Apeman was full of water when I checked it this spring. The lens and the IR array were covered on the inside with water drops. I have sent a message to the seller but have had no response. Don't buy this. Even though it says it is rated IP66 it leaks.

Worked ok inside, outside was where it earned the 1 Star.... and oh there was a fire
Update: MFG reached out and sent me the new upgraded version at no charge, even though I was out of warranty on this one.So this camera worked great when I tested it indoors. Took good pics, and videos etc. I’ve had it since Jan 2018 and it had not seen any outdoor use until this last month or so. I put it out in my woods to get a look at deer and learn patterns etc. I went out today (11/3/19) to check the pics and see what I had. Noticed the batteries were dead, no big deal that will happen. Then I noticed some mold at the edge of the battery cover... uhh oh. I took it home, opened it and had mold all over inside. I cleaned it up and let it dry out and replaced the batteries to see if it would work. It powered right up and appeared to be fine. I set it to off, and had planned on taking it back out and putting it up again tonight. A few minutes later I smelled electronic fire smoke and the battery compartment was spewing smoke. I quickly popped the batteries out and it stopped.Seemed like such a good camera, but for the use I’ve put it through (about 1 month outside) I expect a little bit more out of it. The seal didn’t really work at all and the fire is really inexcusable. I’m just glad I was sitting near it when it started so I was able to reacts quickly.

unbelievable for the price a perfect hunter friend!!
I needed a replacement hunting camera after my spypoint ir7 cam have few problem, and this one hits the mark perfectly, and more feautures than my ir7! It takes 8AA batteries, and comes with a strap and mounting accessories. It also comes with a USB connector cord to cross data over onto your computer, however a micro SD card is needed as well. One thing I would like to note that it is very sturdy, I had set this up a few days ago and it withstood the wind and cold -12 celcius (here in Quebec)! The screen is a plus for watching your pic or video right on the cam, no more cell phone with card reader or tablet or pc, you can watch directly on your hunting spot!!. The picture/video captures are of superior quality, a major upgrade from my old one.The night vision on this thing is out of this world ir940nm is pratically invisible, no it's invisible vs the regular ir 850nm (940nm is invisible at 4 feet away from the cam).It automatically senses any type of movement as it has the high sensitivity motion sensors on it. I would like to point out that in comparison, this one picks up twice as much activity as my older one, which is fantastic at 1/3 of price cost!! I am extremely satisfied with this hunting camera and i will buy a few one in the season for sure! the moose and deer hunter like me need this little buddy!

It did a good job for my purposes.
I used this to track down mouse activity in a drop ceiling and it worked well - I was lucky in my placement the first night because it showed me where they were getting in. That saved me a lot of time tearing things down to find an access point that wasn't immediately visible. It does have a few annoying issues though. First, the largest card it will accept is 32 GB. That seems ridiculous but it hasn't been an issue yet. That will probably change when I re-purpose this as a part-time security cam. Lastly, the manual is pretty slim for a device who's buttons server multiple purposes but are labeled with only single purposes.

Wish it had a rechargeable battery
Camera takes 8 AA batteries and for the camera to function properly they must be fully charged at all times. Would be much better if there was a rechrgable battery built into unit. When on motion detection, in a high traffic area I got 12 photos before the batteries were dead. There are graphics and loud sounds when you turn the camera on. Positives: the screen is great to view your photos right away, the hinges and closures are great quality. Bonus spot for small lock to keep unit secure. The size is nice, camo front with black back.

Seem better than my bushnell’s
I have 4 of these cameras. I tried them out to replace my bushnell cameras. They are just as good as bushnell and much cheaper. The fit and finish is not quite a nice but they work. The camera has a easy setup menu, better than the bushnell. I will continue to test these out to see how the perform at -30 winter conditions. I gave three stars because when I ordered these where supposed to be H68 cameras and H44 cameras showed up so the price was ok but not exactly what I wanted when I ordered the camera add says upgraded and H44 upgraded = the H68 camera well when they showed up I was wrong.

Great camera terrible mounting bracket -Great support
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Worked great but very poorly designed mounting bracket. Broken by raccoon and lost the camera. Quality of pics are better then shown here, These are pictures taken of my laptop screen, by cellphone from the trail cam.Apeman support has been great to deal with, they have offered a replacement camera with a sturdier mount, originally an H68, however they are not available in Canada. I have ordered and will be reemburst for a H65 which I will review after it arrives. The H45 is a 2-3 Star great entry level cam but there support is 5 stars. (Increased for 2-5 stars)
