Amazing. It fits exactly right, the hinge works well. The case is vacuum formed hard plastic. Very solid but witha smidge of flex. I throw my Steam Deck in my backpack in a hard case daily, and this accompanies it. The latch "looks" flimsy, but it is a spring steel and solid closure. Would buy again.

I lost an analog stick on my gears of war controller due to it rubbing around in my backpack. this has definitely made a difference. It slides into my backpack and I don't have to worry about it. the main problem when you travel with a controller in your backpack is that rubs the analog sticks off. This prevents any wear and tear while you travel i think its great. sense the shell is big, Their is a small possibility that the shell wont close properly sometimes. its NOT A PROBLEM at all. Im still very happy with the product. But its just a heads up for future buyers. don't just mindlessly slam it shut and clip.

A case or shell is a must if you have to toss your controllers into bags or luggage all the time, especially with the way these pads turn on so easily by accident. Shells are quite sturdy and will last you, but not that sure about the lock mechanism which does look flimsier. Overall, a zipper bag case will probably be cheaper and hold up better over time.

Protects my Xbox controller well. Works with both the Xbox series s|x controllers as well as the Xbox One controller. The main difference between the two controllers is that the series s|x controllers have an additional button to them. It's nice that they have variants of this controller case for the PS5 controller and the Nintendo Switch pro controller. Its too bad that there isn't a variation of this for the Wii U Pro controller.

Giving it 2 stars because I love the fit and the design of the case. Sadly, after normal usage, the latch broke in the same place as the other reviews here have listed. This happened during my return window but more people need to be aware of this inherent flaw in the case’s design. It will break, it’s only a matter of when.

A must have for travel. I use this to take my controller with me to use for cloud gaming on my iPad. Make sure that I’m not wearing out my joysticks or activating the controller while in transit.

I like how solid the case is and how well it protects my controller. However, after opening and closing it a hand full of times, the latch just broke. It’s not very durable, and I am pretty disappointed.

Previously bought the Switch Pro controller version of the case, this one was no different. Quality rigid dust protecting case with access to the charging port, and enough room to prevent accidental presses. Easy to open and doesn't seem like it will break from regular use so fat. Make sure you have the actual device this is intended for and not a third party controller (it may or may not fit in such cases). I've also haven't tested it with accessories such as rubber nubs.

Fantastic cover that will protect my controller in my luggage for travel coming up. Well built. My initial product had two broken clips holding on the clasp to close the cover. I reached out to Tomtoc when it arrived and the Tomtoc customer service team got back to me within 30min of my email to say they would send a full replacement expedited to me. Received the 2nd cover in perfect condition in a very fast turn around. Super happy!
