Honest Thoughts on the Jura Z10 After Six Months of Daily Use
I’ve been using the Jura Z10 every day for the past six months, and I think it’s about time I shared my real-life experience with fellow coffee lovers considering this machine. It’s a hefty investment, so I wanted to make sure my review is as honest and practical as possible. **Quality and Ease of Use**: Straight off, the Z10 feels solid and well-made, almost like something you’d see in a coffee shop rather than a home kitchen. It's user-friendly and tech-savvy, which I appreciate. I’m a big fan of customization, and this machine lets me tweak my drinks exactly how I like them, especially when it comes to foam! **Maintenance – A Love-Hate Relationship**: Here’s the deal – the Z10 likes to be kept clean, especially if you're using milk. At first, the frequent cleaning felt like a chore, but I’ve come to appreciate it. It’s all automated, so it’s not a hassle, but you do need to stay on top of it. The catch is the ongoing cost of filters and milk system cleaner, but for me, the quality of the coffee justifies it. The cleaning takes nothing... throw in some cleaner and push a button. The milk system cleaning takes 3 minutes so I usually do it while drinking my coffee. It also rises the system after every drink so I keep a cup under it so I don't have to empty the drip tray all the time. The frequent cleaning is what keeps the machine running great and the coffee premium so it's a labor of love... and hardly any labor. **Nice Extras But With A Caveat**: The milk fridge has been a game-changer for my milky coffee drinks, keeping everything conveniently at hand. It's a separate purchase, but I can't imagine not having it. Also, the hot water dispenser is perfect for my tea-drinking moments. But here's a quirk – the machine is quite particular about ingredient levels. If you’re low on beans, water, or milk, it’ll start your drink and then stop midway to tell you to refill, which can be annoying. I’ve learned to check everything before I start brewing to avoid this hiccup. **Final Verdict**: Yes, the price tag made me think twice, and yes, the maintenance can feel a bit much at times. But considering how much I used to spend at Starbucks and how often I use the Z10, I’ve got no regrets. The quality of the coffee, the convenience, and the overall performance make it a worthwhile addition to my daily routine.

If this machine is in your budget go for it!
Our 2005 Jura was top of the line ,we loved it and after all the years hated to make the effort to learn a new pot. But Wow!!!! Just Wow ! Upon arrival the new model was a little intimidating, so we looked up “unboxing” on You Tube. After viewing the video a couple of times we still felt intimidated so used the stop , rewind view again approach. We had also bought the cool milk refrigerator, which required a different video. (Some things about our tech world are wonderful) Everything fit together and it was time to make coffee. We use dial on top to scroll through the screen, rather than scrolling the screen with our fingers. Mainly because we are in our seventies and our fingers are not as flexible as they used to be. After setting the water hardness and the length of time for the machine to remain turned on (we chose 9 hours) we put milk in the cooler. And made our first cup of cappuccino. I have found cappuccino is my favorite selection. I put three tablespoons of a sugar free syrup in my cup. Dial the photo then touch the screen. While it grinds I can make it stronger with more volume . In the morning I like an 8 ounce serving in the evening a 4 ounce. My husband likes the cold brew selection . And the hot water selection for his tea. Clean up is a breeze . I put a plastic cover on the milk container , put that container in the refrigerator over night. Turn off the milk cooler for the night. Remove the connection tube . Turn my sink faucet on a fine stream of hot water. Put a drop of dishwashing soap on the tip end of the tube let the hot water run through it, for a minute or two. Then I put the tube inside the turned off cooler , lock the top on with its key. After cleaning the milk cooler I empty and wash the tray on the Jura pot, refill the water and coffee. So the next morning everything is ready to go again. I love this new Jura . It is so easy to use, and the coffee is delicious. Hope my review gives you the confidence to go for it .

Poor Quality, Worse Customer Service
I had this product for one month when the cold brew function stopped working (less than 30 cups of coffee). Upon contacting Jura they stated that the warranty wasn’t being honored because I purchased the unit through Amazon and a preferred seller wasn’t used. When I asked for a list of preferred sellers they couldn’t provide me one. Despite paying $4,000 for this product that lasted less than a month they expected me to pay for the repair and shipping cost both ways. The amazon vendor Luxxe Shoppe also refused to replace the unit so I simply returned it for a full refund. I wouldn’t recommend anyone buy a Jura after this experience!!! The coffee is great if you’re willing to spend $4,000 for 30 cups.

First time/last time Jura buyer here. This is a $5000 CAD machine. You would expect it to make incredible coffee. The coffee itself is fine. However, there's a few things: 1. The J.O.E. App doesn't work. It's impossible to get it to work. Just search J.O.E. app and Reddit in Google and you'll find threads of people frustrated with it, and who say it's not worth it even if you can connect. You can also look at the developer reviews on the App Store and Google Play. 2. There's no way to set the machine to turn on itself. Maybe this isn't a big deal for some people but remember this is a $5000 machine. If I'm spending $5000 on a superautomatic machine, I expect to be doing as little automatic things as possible. 3. The Milk System connection is fairly bad. This also is a common problem. Apparently you just need to remove the "convex-concave front panel" that is supposedly "visible proof of the attention to detail and absolute manufacturing precision" to tighten a few things. Ridiculous. For this premium of a price tag, you shouldn't have to do any of these things.
