Tough and Fun!
Super Brain Game: This Puzzle is a real challenge! It took my husband (a software engineer who loves puzzles) about 3 weeks to figure out. It's rated level 6 by Mensa, so it's tough but fun. If you like puzzles that make you think, this one's for you!Strong and Durable: This puzzle is really well-made. It's made of metal and feels solid. You can play with it a lot without it breaking.Fun for Everyone: Whether you're playing alone or with friends, this puzzle is a blast. It's a great way to have fun and test your brainpower. Overall, I'd say it's a winner!

I fear I have the best one (Infinity)
On a whim I decided to purchase two of these Level 6 Hanayama puzzles. I chose the Infinity and the Square. I first had my goal of solving Infinity first as that one appealed to me the most. After maybe an hour of fiddling around with it off and on I was able solve it - I never done puzzles like this or "mind teasers" this is my first one. Having said that I would challenge anyone to solve this under 30 minutes. Out of the 2 I can see Infinity being my favorite out of the other Level 6s Hanayama offers, but I may be surprised in the future..I read some other Amazon reviews and remember reading the "News" can just fall apart in your hands.. Well unfortunately I kind of had a similar experience with the Square. I will say however the hint in the box is a bit too much and led to this happening. I would recommend not reading the hint! I believe the Infinity had no such hint that was in the box. (although it wouldn't help because its an entirely different take on a puzzle). After the the Square fell apart, it was more challenging putting it back together but I felt this puzzle was more "frustrating" then logic provoking. The quality of both puzzles are very well made, nicely durable and they have a nice weight to them, The overall quality makes it worthwhile to spend time on solving these and you wouldn't ever have to worry about breaking it while trying to solve them. I will definitely will be purchasing more! The Infinity is a great puzzle and would love to see if another Level 6 is just as good as this one!

Love it!
I absolutely LOVE this puzzle! It's nice and compact, very sturdy and strong, and all the pieces move freely with no binding. It's visually pleasing and gets a lot of attention. I've had it sitting on my desk at work for about a month now. I work with engineers, so it's been played with a lot, and it's still like new. It's a great puzzle, fairly challenging and fun. Once you understand how it works, it's also easy to visually see how close someone is to solving it, which is nice, because people will work at it for a while, and then you can look at it and tell them if they're on the right track or just going in circles.Should be noted that the picture seems to show a brass colored piece, but mine is silver chrome. Not sure why that would matter, but I suppose it might to some people. As for me, I'm loving this puzzle. Great purchase!

Level 6 for beginners only— a good introduction to Hanayama!
It took me about a week or so to master it, and prior to this the Devil wire puzzle was the most difficult puzzle I had solved. Once you solve it a couple times, it’s super easy to replicate. I would call it a level 4.5 for experienced puzzlers. Fairly simplistic solution once you catch onto it. Certainly wouldn’t put it on the same level as the Equa or Enigma.A good puzzle if you’re only just getting into puzzles and the Level 6 difficulty. Nicely made, good material, but a bit of a contradiction. Somewhat middle of the road— not in a bad way. Just in the sense that it’ll be difficult for a beginner, yet likely somewhat basic for someone with anything more than a bit of Hanayama experience. That being said, this puzzle is PERFECT for someone just getting into Hanayama. Teaches you quite a few trains of thought (not everything is what it seems!), trial and error, and strategies to get you started with other Hanayama/mechanical puzzles. A beginner will feel quite accomplished having solved this, and have learned a few things along the way.

Well crafted and clever
Hanayama's NEWS puzzle is an attractive little mind-bender. It consists of two pieces that fit together to form an octagon shape bearing the letters N, E, S, and W, which obviously could spell the word "news" (hence the title) but which also correspond to the cardinal directions, giving this puzzle the appearance of a sort of compass. With its semi-antique appearance and excellent craftsmanship, it will look great in any collection of puzzles, whether you choose to keep it in its original box or just leave it on the shelf to taunt house guests,As is true with all the best puzzles, the solution is at once diabolically simple and difficult to discover. However, while this is marketed as a level 6 (most difficult) puzzle, I didn't find it hard enough to justify that label. That's not to say it's disappointingly easy, but at the same time, it didn't take me hours to solve like some of the most difficult puzzles have. Experienced puzzle solvers will nevertheless find it to be a charming puzzle.Highly recommended, as long as you're not expecting *too* great a challenge in solving it.

Difficult to solve but easy to master (Don't watch video if you want to solve it yourself)
The media could not be loaded. Don't watch video if you want to solve it yourself.Very difficult and fun! This is the most difficult puzzle I've solved. Had a really fun time with it, the first 10minutes it felt impossible. I didn't time myself but it probably took me an hour of play time to solve it and I'm by no means a good puzzle solver. Mastering it took probably another 30mins, I can now take it apart and back together under a minute. Was good times, highly recommend if you like solving puzzles.Don't watch video if you want to solve it yourself.
