This supplement is made in Japan and contains Co-Q10 which is important to take with a statin, natural or not. And this is a natural statin and it DOES WORK. 2 capsules, the recommended dose, give you 1200 mg - I took 1/2 THE DOSE every night for 5 months and my bad cholesterol dropped 50 points. I have tried prescription statin medication in the past and could not tolerate the muscle aching side affects. I can’t tell if this natural stain does the same thing because I ache all the time but it seems tolerable. I recently started taking a higher dose of CoQ10, in a separate supplement and that seems to be improving my overall aching and energy. I’m going to keep taking this but with even more CoQ10. My doctor is very pleased with my last blood test.
