Replacement Battery for Sony PSP 2000 and PSP 3000 by Mars Devices

Battery did not hold charge and was nonfunctional. Not a problem to Replace the item or Return the money.

I give it two stars because they do at least work, if for a bit. Even after a full charge, the battery doesn't seem to last very long.

This replacement battery works just fine in my PSP2000.

I bought this for my PSP 3001 and it works nicely except for the fact that the battery was a tad bit bigger than it should be. So I have to take off the battery cover or else it pushes the game reader open.

My original 10 year old PSP battery only holds about 15 minutes of charge now so, I was desperate to get a new battery.Based on reviews of all the generic PSP batteries, I realized I would just have to buy one and hope it works. This one did not work out for me.Firstly, the battery does not fit properly in the compartment. The battery cover has to be forced shut. However, comparing to the original battery, the battery looks exactly the same shape and size so I don’t understand how it does not fit.Secondly, when booted up with this battery, my PSP does not read from the UMD drive. Swapping back my old battery, the UMD works so the issue is with the new battery.I’m not bothering to try another battery as all reviews are poor. I will stick to using my old battery and keeping the charger nearby.
