This is essential for any job that requires color selection, visualization and mission critical / color code-based projects. As a graphic designer, I'm delighted to see that in addition to the usual Pantone code, I am also able to get HEX code for digital colors, CMYK for printing and further nuances such as uncoated / coated CMYK, etc.Surprisingly easy to download the app and connect with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and etc. seamlessly. Cool thing is it also has a feature to capture color within your computer screens digitally, instead of physically getting the colors from the cube.Was also able to give it to my young niece / nephew to play and draw with, while gaining a better sense of the world's colors and their drawing book.100% would recommend for professionals or parents with kids!

Super easy to use and has me colour testing all sorts of objects. As a graphic designer, I love it.

I think this InstaPick thing is a great idea. Sometimes I see a color somewhere, and I think about how much I like that color. Something like this could theoretically scan that color and save it for use later in whatever program. Here’s the problem. You need something running either Windows or MacOS to use this device, which means it’s not particularly mobile friendly. Sure, you could carry a laptop around, but if this had a mobile app, you could use your phone to scan a color in anywhere. Why there is no mobile app, I really don’t understand. It’s not as though the Colorking+ app is resource-intensive. It’s a tiny, light little program. I find it really bizarre.This device uses Bluetooth to connect. Make sure your Bluetooth drivers are up to date. I had trouble connecting this to my Windows PC, but after I updated the drivers, my computer found the device and connected without issue (my phone could also connect to it, but there’s no software).The device is easy to use, and I like it, but I don’t like being limited to what I can scan within Bluetooth range of my computer.

I was a little skeptical of this at first but there's been great support of it so far and the product seems to work as I was hoping. For the price its worth trying out before dropping a couple hundred of dollars.

It's been easy to use and I've been able to integrate it with all my architectural designs, even spreadsheet presentations, and have my little nephew and nieces use it for their ipad coloring fun.

I work in auto design and we have some fancy pantone color spectrometers in use, but it's not quite as easy as this to use. This was very accurate when comparing next to the commercially rated equipment. The InstaPick is great and portable, but this needs an app to run and interface with if using remotely on the go and will cost an additional ~ $20 to get things working. Connectivity to Photoshop and Illustrator went without a hitch on my work computer and home PC.The most handy this was for is when I needed a good color match of UV degraded paint on exteriors that have faded. This has given me the best color reference to take to the local big box/ hardware store to get an appropriate color match, resulting in a much better match than when I take a flaked sample for them to analyze with their equipment! This is a great tool to have in you arsenal as a home decorator or contractor/ handyman to ensure you get a good blend/ color match when matching new work to previously painted work! Really great asset there as it took so much guesstimating out of the equation to get a good match for painting!

El sensor es muy aproximado, para el precio que tiene vale la pena, el software en mac a veces falla.

Das Gerät und auch die Software sind von der Bedienung her eigentlich sehr gut, jedoch istdas Gerät ist leider mit den gemessenen Werten zu weit von der tatsächlichen Farbe entfernt und somit leider nicht zu gebrauchen (Messwerte wurden mit MYIRO-1-Spektralphotometer verglichen, ist aber auch mit bloßem Auge sehr deutlich erkennbar).

It's easy to use just simple click and accurate color pick and the apps show color code as that the Hex color code, PANTONE color code and RGB color code.
