A+ part. Nice quality
After a frustrating fiasco with a cheaper unit here on amazon, I finally ordered this solenoid for my 2013 vw passat tdi se. My dealer wanted an arm and a leg to repair my AC. Of course thanks to old YouTube and gracious people that share their experiences with the rest of us. I was able to conclude that this was the culprit causing my AC to work on/off. I am glad I didn't listen to the stealership. $1700 they wanted for a new compressor and other unnecessary crap. $25 later in parts, $150 in tools, and here I am in sunny and humid florida with my AC running perfect! I will post an update in about a year or so. So far the difference between this part and the cheaper one available in amazon is like night and day. The cheaper one leak right away. As I was charging my system with refrigerant. This unit, I noticed the quality right away. And when I put it in the compressor, it snap in place very nice and secure. I recommend the part for those of you who dont mind getting your hands dirty and doing alittle research to fix your own vehicle.

Works great!
Works as expected, but, be prepared to do it again. Seems to be a VW thing.(12 JSW TDI)

Saved hundreds with a simple valve
Bought this to replace the valve on my compressor in my 2012 VW Golf. AC only worked when I wanted to and I was really sick of it considering I live in Florida. Easy in and out with an evac and recharge and my AC almost froze me out of the car this morning. I'm satisfied with it. If you own a VW with a variable AC compressor, switch out the valve and save hundreds of dollars instead of buying a whole new compressor.

Get the quality one
Got this because of the price and reviews. Looked good when I got it nice presentation. Fit just fine into the AC compressor. Filled system with freon and it worked drove it for 20 min and turnedthe cart off and then came back an hour later to run to the store thinking I could have cold air. Nope not today was ticked! Wondered if the seal was bad and lost the freon. Nope was full and sitting at 103 psi on the high and low side. The valve had died lost $10 in freon. Had to order a RKK valve double the price but put that in it worked and is still working 2 weeks later and we have been 106 for the last week and working great with the better quality one in. Don't waste the money just buy the quality one, for sure if you are having it done some place else.

Worked cold a/c
Was fairly easy to install hardest part was removing old valve I left a little pressure in system to aid in removing it. Probably not best idea it was only 10 psi left in system when it released it shot out old valve and little oil scared me lol but probably helped clear out the bore of any foreign dust dirt. Installed new valve easily and vacuumed down system recharged and enjoyed ice cold air.

Works on a 2014 SEL Passat V6 With Sanden PXE16
Dealer charged $90 USD and diagnose new compressor needed.Local AC Specialized shop charged $120 USD for diagnose and said needed new compressor - even when i told them it will be the solenoid control valve. So I ordered this valve, I took it a local Mexican AC shop, they drained the gas, swaped the valve, vacuum and re-charged the system back ( for $100 ).AC has been working great for last 2 weeks so far no problems. Love it. 100% recommended.

Fixed VW A/C
This thing saved me a ton of money and got my A/C fixed. Instead of buying a new compressor, had this component changed, and BAM - spitting ice cubes, baby.
