I bought this for my grandma who has dementia and can’t always understand numbers very well anymore. The watch is loud and clear so she can hear the time and make sense of the dial which has distinct clear numbers on it. Pressing the button a second time gets the date which she also likes to check often as she has a hard time keeping track of the date. I recently had to change the time for DLS and it was way easier than I was expecting. The dial is set with the knob on the side just like any watch and to set the spoken time you just push the inset button below the knob and is speaks instructions on exactly what you are setting. It is easier with a tooth pick or pencil but I also managed with my fingernail. It even said there was a way to set a spoken alarm but she doesn’t need one so I have not tried that. The only thing we changed was the watch band because it was much too big for my grandma’s wrist and very stiff. Otherwise I give this 100%.

This is the best talking watch I have had out of three. The adjustment button is reset so I don't accidentally bump it and turn on the alarm. It does NOT synchronize to the US time signal from Colorado and allows me to manually adjust the time for wherever I am. The audio adjustment prompts are clear and easy to understand.

the only thing is I cannot get my son's watch to say the year - when I program it - the year is said but then when he uses it it only gives the time and the day and day/month and date but no year. Not sure why. My son is handicapped due to a life altering accident so knowing the day and date is what he requires as he has very limited short term memory but he can tell the time himself. Had a different one but it was so hard to program with the time changes and eventually although it still talked the time would not reset on the face. This one is much simiplier to set if something happens.
