How do you know its charging?

The Fitbit device lights showing battery usage light up when you put it in the charger. Then you can check the battery info in the Fitbit app to see the percent charged. This works like your phone charger. Nothing on the charging cable tells you.. but your phone shows the percentage of the battery that is left. When charging.. that percent goes up.

No, this does not come with a wall plug unless your outlet takes a USB port. You can plug this into any standard USB port, there should be one on your laptop, or if you have one in your car.. you can plug into that USB port, or there are many usb to wall outlet converters. Check if your phone has one.. or purchase one.
