This is the review after 1 month of usage.Abstract: I really liked the product. It's having really great specs. However, it's not comparable to the built quality of HP or Dell. But as I care my laptop so much, no issues related to it happened for me (I heard there are few laps with hinge issues).My uses: Web surfing ( ofcourse, will open many tabs), MS Office, Basic - Moderate Photoshop, Basic Gaming, Uses Virtual Machine, Android Studio.PROS:Haven't experienced any lags till now. ( Even when I opened many Edge tabs and Android Studio, Lap handled it super smoothly).Quick Booting.Snappy Fingerprint reader.16GB RAM is more than enough for all daily activities such as web surfing, Email, movies, Moderate Photoshop, Basic Gaming, etc.Superfast charging and Great Battery backup (Can charge using USB Type C if you don't have your Lap charger with you).Loud speakers.Lightweight.Screen Brightness is great inside room.Liked the 2 level of keyboard backlit brightness.No loud fan sound.Numberpad makes it easy for typing.You can lock/unlock Fn key. (No need to press Fn key always).CONS:The keyboard and touchpad are so delicate, So I suggest you to buy an external keyboard and mouse especially if you are a gamer. (When I press the 'J' key, the keyboard panel slightly bends down)I tried Asphalt 9 and Valorant on my lap. After 20mins, lap gets a bit hot in the keyboard area. But the game works smoothly.When the fan is on full speed, my lap monitor starts shaking lightly.I couldn't claim the Xbox Game Pass which is free with this Laptop.These cons might be an issue for few people. But it's okay for me. And I think this is a great buy for this price range. I'm happy with the product.

I’ve been using this laptop since March 2022, and overall, it has been good for day-to-day tasks without any major performance issues. However, I did encounter some problems with the hardware. A few months ago, the hinges started acting up, but Lenovo replaced them for free under the extended warranty. I also noticed multiple dark spots on the screen, which Lenovo also replaced under their ADP (Accidental Damage Protection) warranty.The build quality leaves something to be desired, but the customer service has been great in handling these issues. Aside from that, the laptop performs well for regular use, and I haven’t faced any major issues in terms of functionality.If you prioritise performance over build quality, this could be a good option, especially with a good warranty.

The product is built with a good quality as the people comment the product quality is not good which is not true. Metal finish body for the screen back and under neth body and keyboard is plastic body with great performance, speed, fast acces of the fingerprint reader just like mobile phone. I found it very worthy.

The media could not be loaded. I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding my Lenovo Ideapad 5, which I purchased in 2022. Unfortunately, just two days after the warranty period expired, the display began malfunctioning unexpectedly, as illustrated in the attached picture. This issue resulted in a costly repair of INR 7,000, including taxes, despite the malfunction being through no fault of my own.To add to my frustration, after just one year, the laptop’s body panel also became damaged without any mishandling. Upon visiting the Lenovo service center for repairs, I was informed that this issue occurs frequently with this model, affecting 50,000 to 60,000 laptops annually, indicating a manufacturing defect. However, despite being aware of this recurring fault, I was told that the panel would not be covered under any warranty, and there is a possibility it may be damaged again in the future. Even after learning this, the service center asked me to pay INR 5,500 (including taxes) for the repair.With my exams approaching, I had no choice but to proceed with the repair, though I believe it is highly unjust for me to bear the cost of what appears to be a known manufacturing issue. I strongly request that Lenovo take accountability for this defect and either refund the repair costs or offer a permanent solution under warranty.I also urge potential customers to reconsider their decision before purchasing Lenovo products due to these recurring issues and the company’s lack of responsibility in addressing known defects.I hope Lenovo will take swift and appropriate action to resolve this matter.

Awesome specs. Boots up fast. Fingerprint scanner is also fast. We noticed a minor dead pixel and amazon replaced it. Warranty is not an issue as some people have mentioned. After receiving laptop, we got to inform lenovo and they would update Warranty based on the product received date.

Still iam using but from the begining mouse right side is not working well

I am using it for personal and study purpose. The picture quality is simply superb compared to other laptops which I use (HP, DELL). I am able to perform all my practical lab exercises with ease when my peers struggle with application hung issues. I bought this laptop after intensive search. Close your eyes and go for it :)
