you don't want to skimp on a cutter for a sewer line, the ones that come with most cheaper snakes are all junk, and if your getting 5 different ones for 20 dollars they are junk and you will more then likely regret it. This cutter is expensive but is bad ass and will not break off in your pipes. Worked perfectly for me. Well worth the money. 5 stars on this one

This cutter is great. It appears very well made and does the job. After a few hours of use, I can see abrasion on the outside but the grooves stay sharp because of the way they are shaped. You should realize that the size in the description is "nominal" and it's quite a bit smaller than that. You don't really want to force a 2" ball cutter through a 2" pipe anyway, so it's not a big deal. If you need the exact sizes and which one to use on which pipe, they are on the manufacturer's website.

I currently have four other attachments, but when I saw this one I knew I needed to buy it. It has a good weight to it and I am sure it will demolish any clog it comes to.

So I have an house from 1870, almost every year I have to snake the sewer line because of roots. The normal heads worked fine on my harbor freight snake but these roots broke 2 heads that came with the machine. Literally used this clogchopper and holy $&#( I pulled out roots and my line is clear thank God. Got tired of the the lowest point in the house overflowing just by doing laundry. Definitely recommend this head and just to remember to feed it nice and easy and letter eat.

Our drain line that runs from our wash machine and kitchen sink has a dip (belly) in it so it builds up grease. We have had to call out our plumber 3 time within a year costing us $250 for each visit. So on the 4th time we called out a different plumber to see what they would tell us. They quoted us $20,000 to dig up our line and put in new all the way to the sewer. Or they could do a major clean of the line costing us $750. I showed my husband this product and he told me to order it but, he was very skeptical. When he used it, it almost got all of the grease out of our line! We had to buy a longer line to get it to run all the way to the sewer and it's been a year and no more clogs! I couldn't be happier and our checking account is happier too!

I had some initial trouble connecting this to my Cobra Pro 75-ft Music Wire Machine Auger purchased at a local hardware store. The mounting looked to be identical, but the tab was about 1/32 of an inch too long, which prevented the bolt that holds the auger in place from going through. Without a having a grinder to remove some material from the end of the tab, I ended up drilling the hole with a 9/32" drill bit. This allowed the screw to go through and attach the auger to the end of my cable. I expected it to be more difficult to drill, as the description states that it is made from hardened steel. It was pretty easy to drill though. After getting it attached, I spent a few hours clearing my sewer line and it did a respectable job of getting through the roots. As others have mentioned, the diameter is closer to 1.5" than 2", but my drains are working again!

This is not a 2” cutting bit. It’s more like 1-3/8”. Very dissatisfied and it’s false advertisement.

This thing is awesome, I have a seriously bad drain issue with roots and nothing was seeming to do the trick without lots of hassle until this, I would pay even more for this thing at first I thought it was pretty expensive for an end for my snake but it works amazingly well, it chops right through and the results are pretty long lasting. I would definitely recommend this item to anyone who needs to snake their drain for roots it will save you lots of headaches and is worth every penny it costs, heck knowing what I know now I’d pay even more!
