Build quality is 8 out of 10. 10 being the quality of the likes of a PS4, XBOX, or Switch Controller.(As I expected, as you should as well it being made by a 3rd Party Chinese Amazon Brand - Great quality considering the factors and circumstances in play when developing a controller for a mobile device)ALSO! It being made for iPhone 6-8, and how well it works with the iPhone X, it earns its 5 stars for that alone, that I have this controller as an option available.The bare iPhone X fits perfectly!!!The TEMPERED GLASS FITS!!! AND DOES NOT EFFECT YOUR TOUCH SCREEN (DIGITIZER)SIMPLY begin by wedging the base of the phone in placing the tampered glass under the lip first so it doesn't get caught.... (use your brain, also if you have a broke azf screen protector dont be ugly and mad when it doesn't work for you... because... its just gonna tear it up more... so fresh screen protector... (atleast the edges) and then make sure the top of the phone goes in very center, again with the tempered glass wedging under the lip of the controller as you insert so it does not get caught! the locking mechinism should work flawlessly, if you have to put made tension on it try re -centering the phone! once it accepts the tampered glass once it accepts it easily every time after now the plastic has accepted the gab it creates, doesnt break it or open open up internals.)Great for all the games it works with!A List Of Games Ive Tried Personally:Call Of Duty MobileReal Racing 3All Rockstar / GTA Mobile GamesMinecraftmuch more. but thatch really all i needed it for and was more than enough entertainment with Call Of Duty ALONE!Like having a PS4 in my pocket.---Experienced PC & console gamer with the latest gaming tech around, like high powered pc, vr, sim racing, etc and a creditable opinion on this product.

I was skeptical about purchasing this after reading some of the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised though. I can’t report on any of the button issues other have mentioned. It was either so minuscule, I didn’t notice, or it didn’t happen at all. I bought this specifically for use with Steam Link. It works great, and works with more games than you’d think. I was able to stream Fallout 76 to my phone, and the only issue was that the controller doesn’t have all the button functionality needed to really play it (no clickable thumb sticks or start/select buttons).Overall, if you’re looking for a controller for Steam Link, and want something that fits comfortably in your hands, this is great. I like this controllers format & the way it attaches to the phone instead of the other controllers which look like an Xbox controller with a phone cradle on it. Great product, but might lack some functionality with certain games.

1) The buttons are terrible. The point at which they "click" is not the activation point - you have to hold down quite a bit harder than that. Lots of missed inputs and holds converted to double taps.2) My iPhone XS Max feels like it barely fits in. Tight grip, at least. Part of the screen is covered. No chance of keeping a case on.3) It does work with the Steam Link app - it's an MFi controller.4) The sticks work great.So yes, no point using this device due to the buttons - which is sad as the rest of it seems reasonably well thought out. The R2/L2 triggers are especially awful.

I bought this expecting to play all of my shooters and fighting games on it because of how bad the on screen controls are. This product looked cool so I decided to order one. I got it and when I first used it I was surprised at how cheap this $100 controller felt. I brushed it off thinking I would get used to it, and sure enough I did. I tried playing Minecraft and then Modern Combat, and for some reason the bumpers wouldn't work all the time. I thought it was broken until I decided to see if pressing harder would fix the problem. Sure enough It worked but a large amount of force is needed for the bumpers to actually actuate. It makes most games like shooters or survival games unplayable considering the bumpers are very important.
