Dixon China Marker, Black, Thin Lead, Dozen

Great product, works well for my glasswork, I buy a lot of these.

I love these grease pencils -- and Dixon is the "best" brand. I write/read a lot and use these yellow (and red and blue) pencils to emphasize and slash. I am trying to get Dixon to sell me the green ones too in an end-user friendly size (one box of 12) -- I will keep working on it! Sharon H

Terrific highlighters. Better than liquid kind, in my opinion.

I discovered these at work they work great on all materials but tape. I use them to black out my address on old boxes and medicine labels.The pull strings don't unravel the paper closer to the tip so I normally use a box cutter to cut away the paper.

Great label markers for outside as well as inside use. Price is reasonable, and shipping was quick.

The media could not be loaded. I was disappointed with the quality of packaging, and how it came to me, however the quality of the marker itself is satisfactory.I will use these for window painting and the lines stay put and it want to erase anything it's easy to remove. The transparency of the marker on glass isn't that visible unless you go over it twice, but that's okay for me since it's purpose is for sketching only.

I have used these in my classroom with first graders for years. My students love to color on black paper but the colors do not show up well. I let them use this yellow and the white. The color shows up so well on black or dark blue paper. The kids love to use the special pencils. They seem to sharpen themselves by pulling the little string at the tip of the pencil. Some students like to sharpen with the sharpener. They sharpen well and do not easily break. They last the students the entire school year .

Horrible quality: 1) Doesn't write easily compared to other china markers (i.e. grease pencils) I've used in the past; 2) The black filling that is supposed to do the writing (wax or grease composite or whatever it is) breaks and chips easily; 3) The string to peel it is poorly placed and poorly designed, making it impossible to peel the layers to expose more grease/wax (or whatever it is) as you use it. I have ordered dry erase crayons to see if they will work better, as advised on a blog I saw. I also noticed at Home Depot today that they have packets of 2 china markers/grease pencils in red or black for $1.98 in the tool section. I haven't tried them, but they looked to be better quality and I noticed that at least they had the string positioned so that it looks like you can peel the layers much more easily than this product here.
