It is not what I expected. The introduction does not state that a lot of the 4000 foods are American and not available in the UK. Uncle Ben’s was the only brand I heard of apart from Kellogs. No good to me, and not at all easy to follow.

I bought this book as a reference for all thing GI as it advertised 4000+ foods, however it is full of contradictions and duplication. The exact same food description appears several times often on the same page with different GI values, so impossible to ascertain anything. It advertises three books in one and this looks to be true as it seems to be made up of three separate books. Again this means further duplication and contradiction and some pages look like poor copies of the original book, very disappointing.
