Three years ago I tore my meniscus and sprained my ACL. I did one round of steroid injections. While it helped, during the winter I occasionally feel a pull in that area and the doctor suggested a sleeve type of brace to avoid re-injury. I wear this to bed at night, If I feel tugging in that area, I may wear it throughout the day. It is made of breathable fabric and keeps everything aligned. I have also washed this once and it still kept is shape. If your concerned, wash in a laundry bag. I don't need it often. I'm a pretty good judge that when I feel a bit tight, I can put this on to make sure it doesn't turn out.

The sizing chart is a little misleading. I ordered a medium even though the measurements they offer suggested I should order a large. So I went about 2" smaller size wise than what my leg measured. It is snug like it should be and comfortable. It has made a big difference in how my knee feels after walking and running.

I purchased this for my wife, whose knee pain was so bad, she couldn't walk. After trying numerous other knee supports, she fell in love with this product. It's the only support that provides just enough compression to limit movement & support her knee enough to be able to walk (gingerly). It never loses its shape or compression strength. It is by far one of the better products out there....give it a try and you'll never want to try another.

The size chart is definitely off. I measured 6" above my kneecap, it was around 16" so I ordered a large. Way too small, digs into my leg. I would have ordered a bigger size if it weren't also the same thickness from top to bottom and the large wasn't already somewhat loose on the lower part. I did wear it for awhile because I bought it specifically for an event and didn't have an alternative. Based on that, I can report that it's surprisingly breathable for such a thick fabric and definitely offered support. However, it stretched out quickly and became even more loose (except for the part that was too tight at the top). Too many weird issues to call it an overall win!

Really helps keep my knee straight and the swelling down. It does curl but that's only because I need to wear one for most of the day considering I'm on my feet a lot.

Great knee support for an active person like myself. Works great and fits perfectly without an issue. Does feel a little bulky under pants.

Made very well, still holding up after 2 years. This gives me really good relief for a knee injury I had years ago.

I am a carpenter with arthritis. I wear these every day underneath my unloader braces. After two months of constant use they have held up remarkably well and helped me put in full days.
