Ignition Clutch Case Covers Guards Kit for Suzuki DRZ400 DR-Z400S DRZ400SM Kawasaki KLX400 Silver

These worked and fit great on my DRZ400S. I used clear silicone RTV for install. They already saved my bike and protected it from a fall while off road. Prior to these I had purchased Tusk case savers which were more expensive and the fitment was horrible. I was pleasantly surprised with the fitment and durability of these.

They fit perfect, and they work. I have these on two of my bikes. I ride in some pretty gnarly rock. Had a spill a while back and they did their job. One side ended up getting knocked off so I replaced it. Put a set on a second bike. You cant beat the protection for the money.

Fit was perfect and looked great once mounted using Liquid Nails silicone adhesive (had to guess because no recommendation came with purchase) but unfortunately once they got heated up and rattled over 20 miles of dirt road they apparently just fell off somewhere and lost forever. Would buy another set if I knew what to put them on with that won’t fall off so easily.

I took a pretty hard fall right after putting these on my DRZ400 The bike landed on the shift lever and forced it into the side of the case cover where there is now a large dent. They performed as expected and saved my case. Had these not been installed it would have punctured the case, I would of lost all my oil and been stranded. The only downside is they are a bit expensive but I could not find them for less anywhere else. PS the silver looks great on the DRZ I think I may stencil some art on them to dress them up more. PSS I was able to install them in about 30 min using high temp RTV I bought from Wal-Mart. The large plate took an entire tube of RTV and the small plate took about a half tube.

Worried about punching a hole through my case while riding in Moab, well worth the money to protect my bike while on the trail. Used RTV to stick it on. Held it there with masking tape until it set up.

The product fit and was put in using rtv red high temp gasket maker. The covers improved the looks and fit but I question their ability to stop any real impact.

Last weekend, I wiped out in the dirt and fell hard. The impact tore the case saver off my DRZ400s but my case didnt even get scratched. Very happy. I bought another set.

These case savers don't cost much, but they're worth every penny. They needed a little flexing and bending to get to fit just right, but a little clear silicone and you can barely tell. I caught a rock perfectly wrong and flipped my 3 month old drz400s down a hill full of 1-2 foot diameter boulders. I bent the mirrors and gouged the plastics, but because of these case savers, hand guards, radiator guards, skid plate, and a wide rear rack I was able to ride home.

Fit on my drz400e fine and I used some silicon glue to hold them on. Survived a bunch of smaller bumps but only one heavier drop dented it immediately. Because it's the same spot of my previous damage, the repair behind it did not survive the big drop. Cheap and works well if you only have some gentle drops and to have an extra layer of protection, despite being a little thin.

These fit my 2024 Drz 400s with no issues.

The case savers fit well and look good in the silver finish but are a little on the light side. I was hoping for a heavier gauge metal that would offer better case protection.,
