Clairol Professional Shimmer Lights Purple Shampoo fl. Oz | Neutralizes Brass & Yellow Tones For Blonde Silver Gray Highlighted Hair

So I grew my hair colour out last year and let it go silver/grey and still brown in some sections. Silly me decided to re-dye it again and I hated it. I did it a lighter brown. I am growing out the grey again and had that brassy look going on. This shampoo works, I bought a shower cap to leave the shampoo on for at least 5mins as suggested. It took the brassy colour out and has left lighter blonder tones. I am not sure it works for everyone, I am guessing it depends on the darkness of the hair colour and Dye you may have used. I love it though, and its a great price!

My white hair was getting yellow colored, I expect from a green colored shampoo I had been using. I remembered using this several years ago, so tried it again. Yes it worked, took the yellow out of my hair. I use it once a week, leave it on for 2 to 3 minutes, then rinse. My hair is back to its white-silver normal color.I threw out the green shampoo, went back to a white shampoo and Shimmer Lights purple. It does not dry out my hair, or leave any residue.

Many of my acquaintances with gray hair have raved of this product1 Now, I too am gray haired and wanted to find out for myself how good the product is. Yes, it is a great product to use to get the yellow out of gray hair. My hair looks and feels beautiful, and the fragrant is amazing!

I've used this shampoo on and off to keep my blonde from going brassy since the 80's and it still seems to be the same and work just as good as it always has. Never liked the scent, but, great product that leaves my hair shiny and keeps the yellow out! It's always in the rotation...

If I was rating this purely on the smell, it would be a 0. It smells like matcha. SO disgusting. However, this is one of the first purple shampoos I've ever used that has actually made a noticeable difference, and I've tried several of the salon brand purples like Amika, Joico, Matrix, etc. It is effective, but smells AWFUL.

I highly recommend this product. it’s cheap and will leave your hair like you just came out of the salon. I tried using other brands and they never did what this shampoo did to my hair. I get compliments about my hair a lot and how good it looks or even people think I went and got my hair done again. I been using this product for about 2 years now.
