Kidsland Nipple Shield - 20mm

This nipple shoes works well. It is similar to the other shield that medela makes but it is complete circle. It needs to be dry when you use in order for it to stick to your skin. Otherwise, the sides might pop open and won't give a good seal. This helped my when I was trying to recover from the nipple pain. I had to use them for several weeks, but I don't use it much now, which is the goal!! I would not boil it though. The first shield I purchased I boiled because the instructions said you can sanitize it that way. It warped the shape and didn't seal well. Warm/hot faucet water and dish soap is good. Helped to turn inside out up to the base of the nipple to attach to your skin. I recommend this kind and the c-shaped shield. I liked the c-shaped shield a little more surprisingly, but from the same brand.

I was given one of these at the hospital because my newborn was having trouble latching. It completely fixed the problem immediately and we were able to breastfeed with ease. I bought this one so I can have one for the diaper bag and one for at home. It’s easy to clean as well as easy to transport. It also has helped with not making my nipples chapped because she can’t bite and pull as easily as a bare nipple.

The shields with the cutout won’t stay on for me. This one is easiest to suction it on so it stays. Makes it easier for my baby to latch on, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to breastfeed. My only complaint-any nipple shield introduces some air and can cause gas.

A nipple shield is a nipple shield... not as simple as skin to skin breastfeeding. However, of all the brands/types I’ve used, this is the best so far. It stays on better than the Contact Medela with the cutout. It seems more difficult for little one to knock off. It works best when warmed against skin before initiating feeding.

This thing is invaluable! I was given one at the hospital when I had my baby 2 weeks ago because she cannot breastfeed naturally. I loved it so much I bought another one from here! My baby would not be able to breastfeed without this device. I am very greatful for this product. It works people!
