I have a 22 lb. king charles . it says it will hold up to 25 pounds. if i fly i take him with me. has anyone use this for a 20 pound pet? ty

Can I bring this to an airplane (jet blue)

Yes you can use this for your dog on the plane. There are stakes inside that you can push UP that allows the inside to stand up instead of collapsing. Hard to explain. The other thing is to refrain from putting clothes in this or any items in this outside a tablet or a laptop. Any bulky tshirts or whatever will take room away from your pet. Best of both worlds? Well... Here’s what I do: I carry this for my dog for easier airport maneuvers. But then I have a regular Small or Medium Sherpa bag that fits inside this colossal bag to fit under the seat. Remember this is part of your carry-on luggage so you are down 1 item already with this. Sherpas are lovely BUT I don’t like carrying them with a 16lb poodle. This bag is great for redistributing weight as well. Just remember there is a dog inside the bag before TSA. Hahaha It is really comfortable.

What is the difference between this unit and the V-2 one?

Hi there! The main differences between the G-Train and the G-Train v2 are the color - the original GTrain is red and that the v2 is black; and that the v2 has sewn in fiberglass support rods for structure as well as optional interior rods for added structure. Other than these differences they are the same.

Can you lock the zips?

The zippers are really good quality but don’t actually lock down. I don’t have any problems with them unzipping But for my own peace of mind I used a small zip tie. A small paper clip works to.
