3MMCK33442100 - Barrier Film Cavilon 1.0 Ml Wipe, Sterile, Alcohol Free, No Sting

I think these are the best barrier wipes of all the different ones I've tried. They are no-sting, which I noticed with other brands don't seem to work as well as the regular ones containing alcohol, but these work better for me than even the regular ones by other brands. Be prepared with wet wipes nearby because they are very sticky and you will need to wipe your fingers before handling any of your other supplies. I use them with ostomy bag. My output is very watery and makes it difficult for my supplies to stick to me for long. These did help with that but, more importantly, this product protected my skin very, very well even when I had leaks that I wasn't able to change right away and the output sat against my skin for several hours. I expected very open, raw, sore skin and was happily surprised to find my skin in good condition. My bigger problem was open and sore skin from having to change my supplies frequently ... like super gluing stuff to my skin and then ripping it off again over and over. These wipes did not burn at all and protected my skin well enough that it helped my skin heal when I could go a day or two without having to change my stuff because of leaks. Highly recommend this product.

Best barrier film I have used to protect peristomal area - two years of use and my skin stayed pristine!

Excellent Product in every way.

I highly recommend this product for everyone that has an ostomy. My daughter had an ostomy for two years. This was the only brand of barrier film that works to protect her skin. We used it at every bag change. I recommend this product to everyone in the ostomy support groups that is struggling with skin breakdown. We tried all of the other brands. This one works the best, plus it makes a slightly tacky surface that the bag stick to well. This barrier film made her bag last a few extra days. If your skin is red or angry, try applying iodine (the normal brown one, not colorless) to it. Let it dry. Then apply this barrier film. Let it dry. Then apply the new bag. This routine worked amazingly well for us!

I have very sensitive skin, and this barrier film has been a total game-changer. I use it under bandages to prevent irritation and it really helps them stay on longer—especially in tricky spots or during warm weather. There’s absolutely no sting, and it’s alcohol-free, which is a must for me.Each wipe is easy to use, dries quickly, and adds a protective layer without feeling sticky. If you struggle with adhesives or want to protect your skin from friction, I highly recommend this product.

Good but expencive

I had much irritation from the adhesive on the Dexcom G6 before using the Cavilon skin barrier film. Since I started using the film, I have experienced no more skin irritation where I place my Dexcom or my Omnipod 5 insulin pump. I highly recommend it!

Had to use heavy duty adhesive taping for 6 weeks on same area, changing 3-4 x daily. By 2nd week skin injury was common. This saved the day ever since. On time. Works great. Easy order.
