Beautiful puzzle and thick pieces which were easy to place together definitely a great quality

I really enjoyed this puzzle. I love the colors and the light shining through the trees! I framed mine, as I do most of my puzzles!

I bought this puzzle solely for the “letters on the back” (as shown in the site’s photo) since this was my first 1,000 piece puzzle. (Actually, I am new to working jigsaw puzzles of any size, and, therefore, I so appreciate a little help now and then via the letters. It keeps me from getting so discouraged that I soon give up because the puzzle is just too difficult for this beginner (me!) However, NO letters are on the back of MY puzzle pieces! Oh, noooo! I was reallllllllly annoyed and disappointed to say the least!THEN…..a minute later……..I noticed that on the back of the pieces were different colors; not all pieces were the usual “cardboard-drab!” There are five colors that act just like the letters if you want them to!!! (I want them to! Lol Hooray! ) I like the colors even more than the letters…much more!!! The letters now seem distracting! Go figure! How ironic!I also like that the puzzle pieces stay together, and I can rearrange a whole little row at once if/when necessary!(P.S. 4 stars only because I was afraid that, if 5 stars, this review would be lost in all the other 5 stars reviews! IMHO it deserves10 stars!!!)

First time I've ordered a Max Renard puzzle, and now I would order again. Very colorful picture with sturdy pieces that snap together and hold. Usually I don't buy puzzles that have A-B-C-D-E-F on the back, but in this case they helped with the flowers/weeds sections. All pieces were present. Only thing I don't understand is if the title of puzzle is "Colmar" why does "Vasile Assumption Cathedral" appear twice on the sides of box, there is no cathedral in sight. But nice puzzle, I do recommend.

I like how well the pieces fit together. I also like how the back of the puzzle had different colors so I could do it in sections.

A few pieces were so poorly cut they were coming apart. They were cut so thin that connecting pieces had to be handled extremely carefully.

This puzzle is so pretty when completed. It’s a bit on the difficult side just by the nature of the picture…a forest of trees and tree trunks! The pieces fit snugly together, which is a plus.
