VERY BRIGHT, but unsure about the advertised battery life.
I was skeptical about the advertised brightness, but it really is VERY BRIGHT. Even on the low setting it's still pretty bright. I use this to walk my dog at night and it easily lights up the path for both of us. It also makes us more visible to cars to avoid any accidents. The headlamp part is very light, but the battery part is a bit bulky and heavy, but it's such a large capacity, I can understand why.As for the battery life, to see if the advertised battery life was accurate I timed each of our walks for two weeks. I bought the 7500mAh version and in the product picture it says 10 hours on high, but in the product description it says 8 hours on high with a 8 hour recharge time. I don't know why two different lengths for the same brightness setting. My test was done on the high setting. Before my test, I recharged it at least 8 hours to a full 5 dots. Here is a break down of each walk. The dot level after each walk duration is what the battery level was after the walk ended.Walk #1: 30 mins - 5 dotsWalk #2: 25 mins - 4 dotsWalk #3: 27 mins - 4 dotsWalk #4: 28 mins - 3 dotsWalk #5: 27 mins - 3 dotsWalk #6: 29 mins - 2 dotsWalk #7: 25 mins - 2 dotsWalk #8: 28 mins - 2 dotsWalk #9: 28 mins - 2 dotsWalk #10: 28 mins - 2 dotsWalk #11: 27 mins - 2 dotsWalk #12: 27 mins - 2 dotsWalk #13: 29 mins - 2 dotsWalk #14: 1 hr 5 mins - 1 dotTotal: 14 Walks - 423 minutes (7 hrs 5 mins)I don't know how much time you get on just 1 dot, as it dropped from 2 dots to 1 dot in the middle of a walk. It flashes a couple of times when it drops to 1 dot to let you know it's running out of battery which I thought was helpful. I continued on for around 30 minutes when this happened and it was still on when we got home. I just don't know how much longer it would've gone and didn't test further.Since I stopped there, I don't know if that 1 dot could've given me another 55 mins to reach the 8 hours advertised time in the product description or the 10 hours from the product picture advertised time. Maybe it could have because from the results it dropped from 5 dots to 4 dots in just 30 mins, but lasted a surprisingly 221 minutes from 2 dots to 1 dot. I originally thought I would get around 1 hour each dot because from 4 dots to 3 it lasted 52 mins and 3 dots to 2 it lasted 55 mins. I don't know why it lasted so long in 2 dots over the other stages. Since it lasted over 3 hours on 2 dots, maybe 1 dot could've gone 2-3 more hours, I don't know. For my use case, I'd charge it once a week and I'm perfectly fine with that.I chose this headlamp over all the others because of the brightness and large battery size, but also they state, "RISK-FREE PURCHASE: We will provide 180-day quality assurance and 60-day money back." I don't know if that's true, but I'm glad they stand behind their product.Overall, this is a great headlamp that's bright and has good battery life. There may be others just as bright, but small batteries, this does both. If you're looking for a headlamp, don't hesitate to get this one.

Bright and lots of battery life!
Great headlamp! Very bright and comfortable. The battery life is also impressive. I bought one about a year ago and I liked it so much I came back to get another one. I considered getting the larger capacity battery but the standard version has been working so well for me I just went with one of those. I mainly use the light on the lower brightness and it is plenty bright, I don't even need it on the high setting. These lights are so much better than the ones with the single strip

May not be the brightest one I've used, but is the best
I have a handful of the HURKINS branded one, you know the one used in some winter olympic opening ceremony. That has more LEDS and even for my massive head, covers my forehead completely. This takes up 75% of the real estate. What this also does better, not make your head hot since the LEDs essentially float in front of you, which if the housing were aluminum, would aid in its cooling better, but as is, these LEDs heat doesn't effect you the wearer. I also like the slight range of motion and I've tried it in a lot of scenarios. And I can't find any that it is bad at. Reading at night, it angles down enough to not be an issue, though push it down all the way where it's near perpendicular to the forehead and the LEDs start getting in your eyes hindering vision creating what is known as a shadow box effect. BUT again the range of motion, while it does seem to snap into set angles, there's definitely enough there to sate ever use case. I find like 70 degrees to the forehead to be perfect map/book reading angle, but again, you might need the full 90. It's there. Also the brightness/throw on this is very decent, easily 10ft, if not 15 (at max). Charging is slow, but not terrible, I feel like it's at least 2A, and it's USB C. So it takes about 4 hrs to charge from dead (I bought the 7500 version). This has easily become my favorite. Like the design, like that it has articulation. ONLY NEGATIVE is switching modes. There's no memory, here. You will always have to cycle through every time to get to the mode you want. THOUGH, this is at least smart enough to default to "MAX BRIGHTNESS" mode. THEN you have to be QUICK to press it to drop it to mid, and after that it's SOS mode. That's the other annoying thing, just how quick you have to be on that button to change it, it's literally like a one second window, otherwise the next press will just turn it off.In summation, I would 100% RECOMMEND THIS. This is great for walking the dog, hiking (though you may want a proper flashlight as well with better throw, this will definitely prevent you from tripping over immediate hazards, but won't be great for spotting predators more than 15ft from you), car/electronics repair. There's a lot to love here. Also that diffuser is perfect, nice even lighting.

Good light source
Bright light, battery appears to hold up well The battery pack makes it heavy on the head, which presses on the forehead.

Best headlamp I’ve used. I just bought a second.
The light is very bright and the ability to tilt makes it extremely useful as you can direct the light directly at your task.I haven’t needed to do this yet, and recent hip replacement prevents me testing at the moment, but the battery on the back is pretty large. It may be annoying while on your back. It is big enough though it may not be a problem as the bulk may be well distributed.
