For years I have used a product similar to this for all my exterior lights; but these are old, no longer working 100%, and no longer available or supported. I love an 'animated" Christmas tree as well, and I have always relied on those small, brown in-line electric flashers to create multiple light patterns. Last year one of these sparked and began smoking while on my tree. Luckily I was right there when it happened but obviously not good. No more flashers. I was pleased to see the availability of this product. Much more practical and safer, with many more options. Ordered one this year and it is currently in service on my 2021 tree. Love the remote capability. Fun to play with the options. The extended warranty (to 3 years) if you register the product on-line is also a plus.The only suggestions I would make to the manufacturer are as follows: (1) the instructions that come with this product are too general and vague. They don't even mention some of the great capabilities and routine operational points of this product which I only learned through customer service contact (which is very responsive); (2) the other controllers I mentioned feature a built-in circuit breaker that merely trips upon overload, and is simply reset by unplugging the unit and re-plugging. This product requires a fuse be replaced if product is overloaded, which can be a bit of a chore (mine blew upon first use because I was handling a string of lit C7s while attached to the unit, which I do not recommend). Spare fuse included, and I am hoping for any future blows it is merely the same fuse included in mini-light strings, which are easily obtained); (3) the product data advertised for this is a little misleading, it states that each channel operates "independently" of the others. I took this to mean that each channel could be independently PROGRAMMED with a different lighting pattern from the others (imagine the possibilities). This is not the case, one pattern option affects all four channels. However, this is no big deal and the channels DO light independently of the others as part of the single effect pattern selected. Also, customer service informed me that in case the remote stops communicating with the Controller, hold down the red power button on remote for 10 seconds to reconnect with the Controller.I highly recommend this product and will likely purchase more in the future to control my exterior lights.

I needed a simple light controller to give my home lighting a boost. This four channel controller fit the bill perfectly, in function and price. It faithfully runs the lights during the time periods I set, and the neighborhood loves what it does.When the remote went missing, it was replaced by Stardazzle for a mere shipping fee!I highly recommend this controller, Joseph and the company

The first day I got this I loved how my lights looked. It was working great the remote was also working . Tonight this thing only lasted 2 hours before it started smoking and the back melted also my lights where not flashing anymore. I ordered a replacement hopefully it lasts longerUPDATEI tested the replacement for a month and it worked fine no more melting. The only issue is that it would shut off sometimes randomly but other than that great product.

I used this for my Christmas tree lights so I could have flashing or chasing lights. LED lights don’t have this function normally. Its heavy duty and easy to use.

Purchased this product three years ago for a professional production just to give it a try. We love this simple controller compared to some other very expensive units. Excellent value for the cost and overly simple to use. Highly recommended.

Can’t wait for Christmas!

The media could not be loaded. We bought this to make Christmas bells look like they are ringing (chase function, 1 to 4 repeat, so we can control the speed at which they move)... it is deceiving, the lights start out slow then speed up until it is flashing the 4 channels and blinding you. Then it's off and starts over again slow to extreme fast. They will not hold 1 speed... not even sure why there is a speed up and down button except to trick you into believing they are controllable. If you're looking a Random crazy light controller this is for you! We just wanted a simple chase! This one tried to get to fancy and it looks crazy in a bad way.
