This grip is specially designed to fit the large backstrap. Review: Good grip - Why did you pick this product vs others?: I put this on my XDS. It gives the firearm a much better feel. I have a gen one and this is a big upgrade. Just be careful heating the grip it can heat to the point of getting soft if you're not careful. Review: A must have, especially for large caliber sub compacts - Great product. Dramatically reduced the bite from the stock grip. After 200 rounds in this little .45 at the range, it starts to aggravate my hand between my thumb and index finger. Now it is very comfortable and sticky, I have a great purchase on the pistol. Went on in about 40 minutes. I used a heat gun at low temperature and went over the grip pushing it in making sure it got in between every nook and cranny. Did that about 5 or 6 times until I was happy. I didn't dislike the feel of the stock grip on my XDS but was always curious about the Talon. Polymer grips can be a little slick. The Talon has made me feel more in control and confident in my grip than I ever have before. Install was quick and easy. Make sure to follow instructions. The fit was perfect.
