This product did not do an acceptable job trimming the edge banding.
It made a mess out of my edge banding. I quit using it after one board. Save your money and use a razor blade.

Choppy cutting
Not at all as great as it sounds. I had to switch to a razor and sanding block. This cutting tool grabbed the banding and either wasn't sharp enough to cut through evenly or it was just biting into the veneer.

It does the job
This was my first edge banding trimmer, and it got the job done. The springs and pins were a little sticky, but I bet that will improve with use. It cuts clean enough, but I could not get it perfectly flush. A little sanding was needed, but I would have done that anyway. Maybe more practice is needed. In retrospect, I probably could have gotten by with a utility knife and a block plane, but I didn't know for sure, so I splurged on this. I'm sure I'll use it, because I've got it now. I would recommend it because it's not terribly expensive, works well enough, and kept a rookie edge bander like myself from gouging my sheet goods with a knife when trimming it.
