Overall it's a putty knife, does it's job

They are sturdy but flexible. There are multiple uses for putty knives and I haven't replaced mine in years so I'm excited about this set.

Bought these for drywall purposes and applying plaster to holes. Work well and functions as intended, it's a little sharp on the corners since they're not rounded but that's not really the point of them. Very easy to clean and it spreads the drywall plaster around well. Also can't beat a pack of 4 for a low price.

Read a review that said these were too stiff, another that they were two flimsy, and one where the person cut their hand along the side of the blade. For me, using these for scraping off paint/varnish remover and applying wood filler (and I anticipate many other things), these were the perfect stiffness. In terms of the edge being sharp, looking closely it looks like these are punched from sheet metal, so the 'bottom' of the sheet may be ever so slightly raised and sharp. I used a fine grit sanding sponge and quickly dressed the edges and took care of that problem. I've probably used the one or two sizes that work best for me a total of 3 or 4 hours now without any problem with the edges, or flexibility. Compared to a big box store where you would pay this price for just 1 putty knife, these are a great value. Holding up well and I anticipate these lasting a -long- time.
