The only sub $100 meter that can reach stable reading in a couple seconds! Haven't had to calibrate once based upon any noticeable inconsistencies, yet when i have it has taken less than a minute to do 2-point calibration!! Plus theres a backlit screen which is green when calibrating and red or blue when measuring. The screen is blue based upon a user programmed "Goldielocks-Zone". A simple user menu lets you customise based upon desired pH by entering max/min desired threshold which changes the screen red when in the "danger" zone and back to blue when within set limits. Its great when reaching into such dark cavity's where light's best being kept as close to not shining photons within except briefly by shiny gadget pixel beams! Oh yeah, forgot to mention that it can give you an accurate reading of your roots pH, or leaves,flowers, and yes, even eyeballs, though to give a fair warning!! do not sneeze while probe is pressed onto your eyeball or else you could jab your eyeball out of your socket, in which case you'd need to promptly yet delicately while with much haste, systematically re-insert your eye back into its hole before swelling sets in, if it hasn't already in which case then, sadly you may be faced with a bit of impaired vision for some time. By almost certainly will be the case, then the pH meter's reading is most certainly erased, right? Not if you have the autosave function on and it stabilized with smily face and all, saving your last reading, hurray!! was getting ready to try the other eye cuz i have to know!!!!hahahahahaha

Awesome kit. Comes with everything you need out of the box. The accuracy has been spot on for me and the software is logical and is easy to remember how to calibrate without referring to the manual. I also really like that it comes with a waterproof guide. This isn't that common but it's something other brands need to adopt. Overall I'm very pleased

The meter could not be calibrated in the pH4 solution. A phone call to the Apera support got me connected quickly to a customer service representative who was very helpful. He talked me through the calibration steps from the start. As I reported the results he agreed there must be a problem with the meter. He recommended an email to Apera, with full description and supporting documentation etc. Because it was within the return window for Amazon, I tried that first. Much easier. So far, excellent support by Apera and Amazon. And the meter appears to be a well made, equipped and supported piece of tech. So, five stars.

Inaccurate and does not meet my needs. I let the probe soak in the provided KCl solution overnight then tried to measure the ph of distilled water. I couldn't get the same reading twice so I tried the calibration solutions provided. The probe seems capable of 3 point calibration but only two solutions are provided so I just did the two points. It is almost impossible to actually do the calibration. You are supposed to press the calibration button, put the probe in the solution and when the smiley face appears, press the calibration button again. Except if you even so much as think about getting your hand anywhere near the probe to press the button after you see the smiley, the probe loses calibration and throws an error. I let it sit there for a good minute and still, it was very, very difficult for the reading to stay stable for long enough to press the button without error. After the calibration headache, I rinsed and dried the probe then tried to measure the ph of the distilled water again. First reading, 6.5. Turn off, dry, repeat. 6.7. Repeat. 6.8. Tried to measure the ph of my tap water, got 3 different readings on 3 different tries. Went back to the distilled water sample. 6.1. What? I bought this expensive probe because I need to be able to adjust the ph of my samples to within .1 but this is absolutely useless for that since it won't give the same reading twice. Not to mention the measurement is so fidgety and unstable you will never get any reading if you try to hold the probe in your hand. The value perpetually changes and the smiley never appears. The probe also doesn't lock the reading so if you can't orient your probe in a way where you can always see the face, you will also never get any reading. Just junk.

Nifty little package! This is a great value for the money. It comes with a case and calibration kit. This instrument has the highest precision of any portable pH sensor in its price range. It is perfect for taking it in the field. It's small, lightweight, uses common replaceable batteries, it's own case, and a lanyard for when you just carry it in your pocket. I'm thrilled about the two-year warranty and replaceable sensor! Easy to use! Glad Apera makes a wide range of handy products that allow you to only pay for what you need!

I had purchased one of the yellow ph metters when I first started growing basil in hydroponics. It really messed me up several times showing bad readings and causing me to change the ph the wrong direction. If the yellow ph wand was a bike, tgis new one is a sports car. It really does the job. It comes with a testing kit and kind of auto calibrates. Its just cool. Dear company. Love the carring case and the cheat card that is in plastic. Very very cool. Very pro. If you think this is a paid review it is not. Check out some of the terible reviews i have given other products. This is great. I even can take the ph of my toung.

I was looking for a ph meter for brewing and wanted something a little more accurate than the cheap Hanna one and all the really cheap Amazon ones. After some research I found this one. It’s exactly what I needed as it was just over $100 which was what I was looking for (trying not to get excessive and buy the Milwaukee) The accuracy is to .02 which is enough for my homebrew for sure. It worked excellent for the first brew I’ve done with it! The big thing that got this 5 stars is its an all in one kit. Comes with 3 point calibration fluids, little cups for them, and the instructions are laminated and are great. If you’re looking for a homebrew ph meter this is the one to consider for sure if you’re on a budget

Bin sehr zufrieden,vor allem die austauschbare Elektrode und die Wasser dichtheit haben überzeugt.Ebendso die einfache Bedienung und der Koffer mit allen Zubehör. Was mich aber sehr irritiert ist die Tatsache das ich das Gerät im Oktober für für74,99 gekauft habe und im Moment kostet es 149 Euro…. Bin mal gespannt was es beim Black Wochenende kostet..?.

Not impressed with this. I ordered the flat pH sensor by mistake and it only lasted 2 months and yes I have tried the regeneration fluid. I have been using pH monitors for 25 years so am familiar with the use and recently I have switched from expensive kit to these cheaper units as they do give similar results and when in the field it doesn't matter if you trash them. I already had the basic Apera pH monitor (12 months with bulb) and had such a good experience with it that I ordered the tds unit. Then thought 'what the hell' and treated myself to this. It might be that the bulb version is better but I can not find a contact for the seller to discuss. Anyway there you go.

製品に個体差があるのか、当方が購入したものはダメでした。他のレビューにもありますが数値が全く安定せず、標準液で計測しても測る度に数値が大きく変わるのでこれは明確にアウトです。フラットタイプは特に電極が繊細らしく、静電気などで数値が定まらないこともよくあるようです。だだ手持ちで使用するポータブル器で測定が安定しないのは使えないので残念ながら返品しました。
