View-Master Experience Pack: Smithsonian

Never even got to use these. They don’t work with a normal view master, so I ordered the specific one required. It’s obsolete and doesn’t work. It requires apps that no longer exist, and adaptable iPhone versions are only 5&6.

This Smithsonian pack sounded so promising. However, it not work unless you ALREADY have the app that was discontinued in Nov 2019.Had totally disappointed grandchildren when we tried to use it at Christmas.Shame on Mattel for discontinuing a four year old product in this way.Shame on the seller for still trying to sell it without this explanation.

A very engaging game. Possibly a bit too much for my 4-year-old to understand, but I'm glad I got it for her, for when she's older. There are 3 sections to the virtual museum: flight/space, prehistoric artefacts, and American inventions. The gameplay is about 2-3 hours in total, but the breaks in between scenes take up most of that. There are various types of games: find hidden objects, stick missing pieces onto paintings/photos, build 3D puzzles or carry out various activities (like lift-off in the Friendship 7). A lot of interesting stuff here with a nice section specifically about the role of women in progress. It takes you through some of the basic discoveries and hypotheses, like the Earth's formation, dinosaurs, mammals, Egyptian tombs, steam engine, light bulb, telegraph, space flight, etc. It also comes with a few cheeky comments about some of the things that weren't so great about the early inventions (like the fact the first tram service left a trail of 'organic matter' behind it). A great, interactive game that can teach children basic things about the world they live in.

No se como se usa estos tres articulos. No tuve la ayuda que necesitaba ya que queria devolverlo a menos claro si me dan las instrucciones de como usarlo. Yo siempre uso el del otro formato que es 3 discos en carton con los negativos en cuadritos chiquitos y con una maquinita chiquita lo introducia y veia las fotos. No habia nadie de Amazon para que me ayudara al respecto. No habia forma de imprimir el label para retornarlo. El counter de servicio al cliente de UPS no tenian printer en su area de trabajo.

The app that is required to run this does not work. I purchased all of the experience packs and the view master as a Christmas gift. We were using a iPhone 7+, so the phone was not outdated, the app simply would not work. We had to return everything.

I applied this as directed, was very pleased with coverage and even coating but it is already wearing off the bottom of the microwave wear the tray wheels turn. Doesn't look horrible yet but definitely will have to sand down again and reapply.

Hours of fun with the kids keeps them busy and they even get to use their cell phones this just proves that even Innovative products like view Masters can keep up with the times

I love all these VR games. My son and I play them often. He’s a history fanatic and loves that he can start his own museum and has to find artifacts. It’s educational and fun.
