I bought this as a stocking stuffer for my wife who often wants to make small repairs to her garments but doesn't want to buy a sewing machine since it would get very little use. I thought this was a great fit for that type of use but this device is so cheaply made that it barley works at all.Once I get it all setup and tested, I tried to hem some thin cotton pants and I could not for the life of me get this thing to work for more than 10 or 15 stitches before it would jam or quit working. I would reset it, check everything is aligned and ready but still no luck.If I hadn't purchased it so far in advance of Christmas I would have sent it back but it was well outside the return window by the time Christmas had come and gone.Don't waste your time or money on this device.

Purchased to repair fleece. In a nutshell... I still had to end up hand-stitching. Dunno if the one I got was a lemon, but two thumbs down for my experience with it. I knew it was too good to be true. I evenwatched videos to see if I was using it properly. I may purchase a different brand/type before I give up on it. That's just me. You may have a better experience that I did.

The media could not be loaded.  There is no sewing thread, just pull the thread and the cloth and it will be separated
