Bought this level to install my 13" swing lathe in my basement. I needed something to ensure accuracy in leveling the lathe. Using the level on the bed ways was easy, produced very accurate readings, just make certain you look at the edges of the bubble VERY carefully. It is easy to misread such an accurate tool, but by using a small magnifier, I got excellent results. I late checked my work using a colleague's ultra-precise machine level, and they read the same degree of level. Saved myself several hundred dollars from buying on the the extreme machine levels and got the same results. The tool is well made, could perhaps have had a smoother ground finish on the base groove. I would recommend this level for anyone looking for an accurate, affordable and well made tool.
