Standard Shoe/Sandal Storage Box, Maple

I ordered this box for some custum shoes I had made. I wanted a nice shoe box to store them in and this works perfectly. It's really spacious and i love the window on the front so I can see what pairs of shoes are inside. It's pretty sturdy and not heaving. I will definetely order more for my nicer pairs of shoes.

looks sleek and classy but its a little small for my heels. and the anount I would have to buy would cost a small fortune. youre better off with the little plastic clear shoe boxes.

The shoe traps came on time and though I questioned why boxes that were marked fragile on the front were shipped in boxes not marked fragile, all arrived safely and in mint condition. They were just what I expected and look really elegant in my closet. I will request shoe traps for each gift-giving occasion (birthdays, mother's day, Christmas etc) for the next few years. Then I may finally have enough.

This has been a great purchase for the shoes that need extra care during storage. We recently installed closet shelves and the shoe containers were a great addition.

ShoeTrap offers 3 sizes of shoe boxes: 1) the smallest, which it calls a "Hightop/Heel" box, 2) the "Standard Shoe/Sandal" (which is this one), and 3) the "Boot/Purse" box. Since the biggest box is for boots, and the smallest one for heels, there is really only 1 box size for shoes in ShoeTrap's line of shoe boxes, which is this box that is being reviewed. This is a very pretty box. It has a fancy magnetic closure that makes a nice snap. The cherry finish is beautiful. BUT it does not fit my dress shoes. Nor my sneakers. Not even my slippers. As a shoe box, it gets 1 star. I should have been suspicious when I read the review saying that it is "a little small for my heels", but who'd expect a shoe box that doesn't fit shoes? I wear US size 10, and I do not think this is particularly large such that my case qualifies as exceptional. Neither are my shoes "non standard". They are the AE Park Ave and an ordinary Puma sneakers. The problem with this shoe box is that its dimensions are off. The box is deeper than is necessary but not as wide as it needs to be. It should be wider, and can be less deep.

Love these! I wear a size 7.5 women's shoe and flats fit perfectly in the box. Based on some other reviews I decided to leave the moisture absorbent gel pack in the back of the box to combat any excess moisture. Beyond the classy look and the convenience of the glass front these ShoeTrap boxes have a couple bonus features. 1) They smell amazing. I love opening my closet to the smell of cedar. 2) They are far deeper than needed for a pair of my shoes. If you've ever bought a designer pair of shoes you know they come with a bunch of extras. Travel bags, certificates of authenticity, extra heel taps, suede cleaning sponges and so on. Its great that I can put all those extra things out of sight behind the shoes keeping travel bags with the shoes they belong. No more random travel bags stuffed in drawers. I'll definitely be ordering more of these and already have a couple of the other sized boxes.

Just what I wanted, just what I ordered. My closet space is limited and I needed a home for my shoes that could stand out in my room, match the rest of the decor, be flexible for placement and not cost a fortune. These boxes fit the bill and I decided the higher price was worth not having cheap plastic boxes stacked along the wall. They are a bit long, this is great if you have a larger (or male) shoe you are putting inside. I have small female feet, so find many of the boxes will hold two pairs of my shoes/sandals. The price may seem just a bit high, but for 35% more than plastic boxes, these are a deal - they are furniture quality and should last a very long time. I also love the fact that the doors close so easily and snugly without an actual latch - it does not require a hard pull to open them. Very high quality - really love my decision to purchase...
