I would give the hands-free square 5 stars except for the fact that after only a few months the plastic housing broke right at the place that the strap goes through the square ( see attached photos.) I use two of these for training and keeping my dog safe. Both of them broke like this within a week of each other. i see other reviewers are reporting the same problem. I emailed Dogtra just to tell them that there is a design flaw that needs their attention. I have not received any response. i assume they must know about this, but don't care enough about their customers to let them know what they plan to do about it. I just purchased two more of these so I can continue to use the hand-free unit (I have an ARC.) However, I am not at all happy about the fact that I will most likely have to spend around $60 to replace these every few months.

It functions as expected. I like the square button. I use vibrate function I get attention when I use it. I have not used it for any other functions yet as I only use vibrate. Will need to take a class to learn the full use of training collar. With this collar I used come command across a dog park half park covered by clouds, where I could not see the dog pushed the vibrate button and she came promptly.

Product works great out on hikes; however, it is not durable as it only lasted 3-months before snapping and breaking. I have repurchased, just because it is a useful tool in safe guarding my German shepherd on trail when he is off leash. Wish it was more durable …will still utilize

Great hands free and utilization for K9 training. Remote is a great add on for Dogtra products.
