I had a 15+ year old Craftsman bench-top drill press, and the switch finally gave out. I thought I was going to have to buy a new press. But I unscrewed the old one and saw it could be replaced. Checked here and saw this, and for $12 it was worth a try. Perfect fit and the press is running great again. Great product that saved a lot of $$. Thanks!

My Craftsman table saw was getting flaky about turning on and one day would not start. I have overheated the motor before and thought the machine was junk. I was really thrilled to see that a replacement switch was available and at a good price, so I removed the blade for safety, put a jumper wire around the switch, and the motor ran fine. Old switch had just gone bad. If you turn your table saw upside down on the floor you can reach in and get to the switch to replace it. My old switch only had two terminals on it and the replacement switch has four, maybe for a work light on some other machine, but is not an issue here. I had also thought the circuit breaker on the saw might have gone bad since I have tripped it when overheating the motor but that was not the case. That said, replacement circuit breakers are also available, inexpensive, and would be just as easy to replace.
