Liquid Harvest Lazer Blue Concentrated Spray Pattern Indicator 8 Ounces Perfect Weed Dye, Herbicide Fertilizer Marking Turf Mark and Marker

I bought this to show where I've already sprayed liquid fertilizer on my lawn but I will be using it for all other plant spray applications. When mixed properly, even a light application is obvious. It is very bright and sticks to what has been sprayed very well. This marker dye stays on plant surfaces even after a decent rain but fades over time. It will stain skin but also fades over time. I don't know how it would do on clothes because I was careful, I assume it would ruin fabric. Overall, this dye is very helpful to see where I've already applied and I will definitely buy it again when I run out.

A little goes a long way. I’ll drop a couple tablespoons into my backpack sprayer tank mixed with water and the chemical I’m putting down on my lawn. Shows what you’ve already sprayed so you don’t over due the same area. Goes away in about a week. Washes clean from the sprayer tank with just water. Good stuff.

Anyone who has ever sprayed liquid herbicide (or any chemical) over a large area of ground will appreciate the problem. It is tough to remember exactly where you sprayed and didn't spray. You end up with either large gaps, or areas sprayed multiple times, or both. This product helps out quite a bit. === The Good Stuff === * Once you get the hang of seeing it, the blue is distinguishable even on green grass. It helps a lot if there are patches of bare ground, or some dandelions or other flowering weeds, but you can see the blue even on grass. It helped me a lot wear polarizing sunglasses. * I mixed it per the label instructions. I suppose a little extra would have helped things along- maybe next time. * Cleanup wasn't as bad as I feared. The instructions mention bleach, but I just ran a little extra plain water through my backpack sprayer, and the blue dye cleaned up. There might be just a slight blue tint to the clear tubing lines on the sprayer, but it gives the thing a little class. === The Not So Good Stuff === * This stuff should really ship with a box of surgical gloves. The instructions say the dye will wash off skin with repeated washings, but I suspect it really means that once the skin wears away, the dye goes with it. And if you get it under your fingernails....well, good luck. * I was not a fan of the bottle. It didn't pour real cleanly, meaning the stuff dribbles down the side of the bottle. Makes for a real mess. A squeeze bottle, or some sort of pump would have been appreciated, even if it added a few cents to the cost. === Summary === In the end, the product did what it claimed. There are a few things that could have been better, but it solved a problem, and probably paid for itself in less double spraying. I would have much preferred a brighter color (yellow or orange), but I suspect the blue dye was the easiest to make work. If you are colorblind to blues and greens, don't even bother.

It works well. It will stain your clothes. So wear old stuff

It makes liquids blue. Does what it says. Washes off with rain. A little bit goes a long ways. Great for spot herbicide spraying.

I don’t know if you’re like me, but I sure love to get yelled at by my wife for things that I have absolutely no control over. 🙄 The 8 oz. bottle that I received does not look like the bottle in the photo. It’s unfortunate because this style of bottle would cut down on the mess made when dispensing the dye. The bottle that I received looks like a smaller version of the 32 oz. bottle. Instead of squeezing the bottle to measure and dispense the dye (like you would do with the bottle pictured on Amazon, I had to measure it the old fashioned way (pour the dye out of the bottle and into a teaspoon). As much as I like old fashioned things, I dislike looking like a Smurf. My bottle was either previously opened or has a crack at the very top of the handle. As soon as I started to take the lid off, dye started to come out of the bottle. Measuring out four teaspoons was a messy adventure that I did not need to have, but since I love to get yelled at, everything ultimately worked out just fine. In all seriousness, be aware that the bottle you receive might not be the style of bottle pictured here on Amazon. Wear gloves and be careful. I feel stupid saying this because it shouldn’t be a big deal pour out of a bottle and measure it. BUT if this process goes south on you, even in the slightest bit, it is messy. The dye gets spread everywhere very quickly and it smears around when you wipe it up. If you get it on your clothes, it comes out fairly easily. We pretreated the stains with Oxy stain remover and soaked the clothes in a bucket of laundry detergent and Oxy Clean before washing. The dye also washes off of your skin easily too, not instantly, but easily. Finally, the product works as intended and it’s nice to be able to see where you sprayed and where you didn’t.

This stuff is great. For years I struggled with spot spraying weeds, only to find at some point I was likely spraying the same ones twice and missing others. Wear gloves. This takes a few days to wash off you fingers.

Very Good product in which it leaves a dye to show the areas you covered. Last couple of days with gradual fading with the sun and general weather conditions. Use Cloths you don’t care about in case you get dye on you. Wear gloves.🧤

Très pratique pour savoir ou l'on utilise les produits de traitements. La couleur disparait en trois jours sauf sur les murs. ATTENTION Il faudra utiliser un nettoyeur haute pression pour faire disparaitre les taches. Utiliser des gants car sur les doigts ça reste malgré un nettoyage intensif.

Excellent product. Be careful not to spill it. It can be messy.

I've usually just guessed how much liquid chemical I've applied before but this helped me make sure I got the right coverage. I barely used any in a 15l tank and could see exactly where I'd applied weedkiller. It made the job much easier. I did get some on my shoes but it wore off fairly easily with general wear,
