NeoStrata Resurface Lotion Plus 15 AHA 200ml

I've suffered from little red bumps over my arms for years and could never find any information about how to get rid of, until I came across an article that suggested Glycolic Acid. I researched alot of products and Neostrata seemed to pave the way for AHAs so i bought this on a whim. I am so glad i did as this has been the only thing that has ever helped me and the only thing i will ever use for it now. It's a high strength AHA but figured my skin could handle it as its not sensitive at all. It leaves the skin tacky for a few minutes but soon sinks in leaving no greasy after feeling. AHAs have wonder chemical exfoliation benefits for all kinds of skin problems and I recommend this to everybody now. A little really does go a long way and I use it for the added bonus of keeping ingrown hairs at bay in shaven areas. It's non-comedogenic and is perfect for clearing out pores. For me, I saw immediate results, but depending on your problem I would definitely use this for at least a month to give a fair trial. I bought this product after reading so many awesome reviews on what it does for your skin. I was in higher hopes when I recieved this and it has done exactly as I hoped ! I never wright reviews EVER! But this deserves it. My main issues was hormonal cystic acne after coming off the contraceptive pill . Although I only saw one or two other ladies saying it worked for acne most reviews were great in general in regards to how this leaves your skin so that's all I needed . I would say it started clearing my acne right away and it took another couple of weeks to brighten my skin but I would say my skin is 85% better than I was !As said in other reviews your skin can get a bit red but all it takes is a normal good quality moisturiser and it's fine !For the first two weeks I used this every night and a regular moisturiser in the day and after that just used the lotion plus every couple of nights .100% worth a try!

Only used this a few days and I’m seeing a difference already. It’s made my skin look super smooth and my pores are a lot smaller too. Before I used this product I had mad skin texture and my pores were really big and it’s smoothed it all out and it gives that flawless poreless primer effect. I have sensitive skin but I have used aha products before so my skin isn’t reacting too bad just abit of dryness on my nose. But other than that amazing product and you get a big tube of this lotion so it will last for so long.

I used this product for about 2 months and there is a significant difference. I have Keratosis Pilaris (KP) or "Strawberry legs", which means I get tiny bumps all over my legs (even on my elbows). I've been suffering from this condition for years and finally bought this product as it was recommended by people with KP. From the first week I had a stinging sensation when using it which may be because my skin was not adapted to the high acid percentage in this lotion, it was a stinging that didn't irritate my skin however (so it wasn't red, patchy or saw). In my opinion, the lotion doesn't have a very strong scent and when it is applied onto skin the scent does not linger i.e the scent disappears when absorbed into skin. After the first week I've notices my skin felt hydrated (compared to my old regime which was using normal shop bought lotion that didn't effectively moisturise my skin throughout the day). I didn't notice any difference with the bumps on my skin until the second week when there was a significant reduce of the bumpy texture on my skin. After a month of using it once a day there was barely any bumpy texture on my skin. It was smooth and hydrated. However this lotion did not get rid of my scars even after using it for 2-3 months (scars as consequence of KP or ingrown hair etc). However the bumps are completely gone which is actually a big accomplishment. I rather have that rough bumpy texture gone, and smooth skin. I recommend using coconut oil (virgin) after applying this lotion. I think after a month and a half of using this lotion only, I started applying coconut oil after applying the lotion onto my body to give me extra hydration and it really makes your skin soft (I know its a bit long to hydrate your body twice but its worth it for me in the long run and to be honest a little coconut oil goes a long way and its affordable).Another point is that the lotion nicely applies onto the skin and absorbs, however it may feel tacky for a bit after but goes away, so that feeling doesn't last that long.I gave this four stars because this product is on the expensive side (and doesn't help with scars, however I understand that it may take time for marks/scars to fade and I can't expect this product to be an all rounder). I don't think I want to repurchase again simply because it just too expensive for me. I do want to keep these bumps at bay but unfortunately i just may have to find a cheaper option and if that doesn't work out then i'll decide to repurchase but ration with the amount i use. (I think this product will last me up to 3 months max).

great stuff , for acne prone skins it needs to be combined with other glycolic acid products , as it contains ingredients which help the bacteria to survive , although they make your skin look great , I use a glycolic acid toner during the day which is harsher but has more affective antibacterial affects . This stuff removes mild acne scarring and makes me look about 20 years younger . I will buy again . Nice big tube as well .
