Purchased to get answers
I purchased this camera so I would have answers to the questions I posed on Amazon. This after receiving no response from the vendor. My primary concern was whether the camera would record longer videos as a single large file, or whether it would break the video into smaller 4 gigabyte mp4 files. Well, it did not take long to find the answer. The camera only supports the FAT32 file system. This file system has a maximum file size of 4GB. This means, the camera has to break longer videos into smaller mp4 files. These files need to be combined together to make a single, distributable, video file. Not ideal as this adds steps (and a great deal of time) to what should be a simple process.A short 30 minute birthday party video in 4K will be recorded as six 4GB files. A 30 minute video shot in 1080P at 60fsp will go over two files. This breaking up of the video is due to limitations of the FAT32 file system (again the only option available with this camera. Until the manufacturer can create cameras capable of using an exFAT or ext4 file system, their cameras will be more difficult to use than they should be.

MEH!!! not a quality video
First off, I get it, it is a $135 camcorder. The problem is I have a JVC that is about 10 years old, and it still takes amazing video, but at 1080. While there is nothing wrong with that I wanted to move into to the higher def world. Here is where you move into the $135 or $1000 range, there is no in between.I also get the fact that cell phones have pretty much squashed the camcorder market, but I still shoot alot of little projects and NEED more options (ie. external mikes, stands etc.) things that a hand held provides.Anyway, the video quality of this unit is similar to that of a an old VCR tape camcorder (even when in high def mode 4K 60fps) the picture quality is not crisp and is a little grainy. There is NO AUTO FOCUS, the zoom is wonky and stutters as it zooms in and out.One would think that you could put a camera lens in from an old cell phone from 2015 and have better image quality. The build quality is cheap thin plastic, the unit feels like a kids toy, and if you are not careful it will break. The unit is easy to use and very straightforward, simple controls and programing...A+ for that. But again, if you are looking to go above cell phone recording...it depends on what you are doing. If you are out on an adventure where you dont care if it comes back alive or not, then this could be a good choice.I.M.O. If you are looking to preserve special memories, and have high quality, I dont think this or any of the new camcorders in this range will work for that. (unless you like retro VCR tape quality)For the money, I will keep it for days at the beach, hiking or outdoor activities so I dont have to worry about sand, mud, water, breaking or theft. It is definitely a throw away model when its done.

I love this camera
This camera has soooo many features at an amazing price. It has a super clear picture. Plus it’s not bulky or heavy so I’ve easy to carry with you. We use it for taking videos of weightlifters and upload to Instagram. You get a much better quality video than what you get from using your cell phone. I love it.

Camera is good but it takes a learning curve to get it right
We don't like the digital zoom, as it doesn't let you go too far. It says 48 mega pixils, but the product produces less than that. Other than that this product does what it is advertised to do. We are using it to create YouTube content, check out how it is performing at "Our Georgia Suburban Homestead" channel and you will see it zoom in and out and be able to hear the sound quality. One of the videos, I think it was our first, you hear the sound go quiet. This is a fault of plugging-in the noise cancelling feature. It is difficult to adjust the sound when you're filming yourself, so we are using the microphone without the noise cancelling feature. There IS a learning curve involved here, too. Tune into our channel and see what I am talking about.

Video too dark!
I have a camera, it's been flickering between color and b/w. Asked a friend who knows cameras to replace...she suggested this one.Everything looks like it's in a shadow and I have excellent lighting. My yoga students will never see my face and I need neon colored clothing to be seen. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!
